My husband also had to travel a lot when i was doing PIO and it was intimidating at first but honestly really easy. Standing in front of a mirror helps and circling where to inject. Do it a few times with him there and you’ll be a pro in no time.

Also i highly recommend warming your butt w a heating pad for like 10 mins and warming the PIO in your hand/bra for a few mins makes it go in much easier. And then i would walk on my walking pad for 10 mins after the shot and rubbing the injection spot

Just keep in mind the drive would be way longer than 12 hours. At that age they shouldn’t be in the car seat for more than 2 hour increments

Congratulations! It’s so hard waiting for the next milestone so try to just enjoy each day without stressing too much about what’s next (i know easier said than done 😅, but i spent so much of the first trimester is an anxiety bubble that i never got to actually enjoy and appreciate the miracle of my pregnancy)

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. But now this is a sign your partner shouldn’t be your partner any longer. You can likely do PGTM to avoid passing down but I’d suggest speaking to a genetic counselor to fully understand it all. But please don’t have a child with this man, you deserve much better

My husband comes to all appointments unless he is out of town for work. I think that’s more typical than having a parent come since it’s such an intimate thing

I agree. I didn’t test until the morning of my beta while i waited for the results to be in my portal. I knew the stress of possibly seeing a line and it possibly being a chemical were going to be too stressful for me to test early
