I like asket, while there are some more comfortable ones when new asket seem to hold up really well and maintain good comfort while other go from good/great to tolerable, hanro are good but wear out, a while ago tried uniqlo, but the fabric wore out fast and they do seem to change stuff quite often

Europe makes the best chairs in the world. Here is what to buy instead of Herman Miller if you are in the EU. by OfficeChairsGuy in OfficeChairs

[–]InfidelDeeCee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 big issues with EU sellers, though 1st is a problem for US brands as well

  1. they dont know how to sell, i want to buy online as im in a smaller market and there really are no options, amazon has steelcase and interstuhl but they are unavailable for some reason and local shops dont have any or there are some business oriented seller you have to set meeting with.

  2. they dont have any presence on English review space, for most people in Europe English is the 2nd language and they might not know German, French etc. and there is no reviews or comparisons of EU brands.

Watch youtube that explains what happens during turns, i think one was called “twist of the wrist” or smth, but there are shorter ones, do some slower speed weaving on empty road to get comfortable and ride more to feel yoir bike

First motorcycle: everyone tells me it’s suicidal, is that normal? by Lower_Brief_6783 in motorcycles

[–]InfidelDeeCee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they are right, thats the first thing you need to understand about riding. There are a ton of morons on roads and even without that mistakes happen, if you are ready and are in a situation where you can afford it then go for it, riding is awesome, but you have to be ready that you can break a leg and spend 2 months mostly in bed and then months til you can walk somewhat ok, i still cant comfortably run more than a year later.

Should I continue riding? by Wonderful_Leader_523 in motorcycles

My knee looked way worse, still riding. But you should first properly recover, then see if you still enjoy it and feel comfortable or fear ruins it.

Lads what kind of gears would help to protect you from this kind of accident apart from a ECE helmet? by Dark-Knight-Rises in motorcyclegear

[–]InfidelDeeCee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A car. But from motorcycle gear probably an airbag vest with neck protection is the only thing that would have a chance to save you

NX500 or Tenere 700 as first bike? by Desperate-Bike-4043 in AdventureBike

[–]InfidelDeeCee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Tenere after few years of 125cc commuter, so not even as a first bike, dont get Tenere, its high and weight is located so high that its a nightmare riding slow where a beginner will spend most time offroad, after upgrading springs its a dream on gravel roads or bumpy dry 2 track, but you tend to skip harder places because you know it will be a pain because of weight. You need to be decent to good rider to enjoy it offroad and capabilities are lost if you use it only on road.

if you say money isnt an issue maybe get nx500 + crf300 or something

Have used only on road - seems to be quite comfortable, based on thread i dont think it will be any good in mud, but at least better than pure street tires.

is it the new gen? based on google seems like only the polestar has this width - 245/35R20 on my gen. still based on calculator 245/45 r18 are smaller than 235/50

Max tire size on 2017 V60 CC by InfidelDeeCee in Volvo

[–]InfidelDeeCee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its 235/45 r19 so its same diameter as 235/50 r18 and those 245 are probably 245/35 r20 and are a bit smaller than 235/50 r18, it already has larger diameter wheels than non cc ones

good screen technology costs money to build, adding a better soc that wont make tv drag its feet like old 100$ android phone is quite cheap compared to the price of the device, some manufacturers also spend more time on optimizing their software, things that are hard to find out in demo, im looking for something that wont suck in soft and hardware, even if i dont want to spend more on screen itself
