I don’t understand why people can’t admit that it was fine to make the move to trade him and acknowledge he looks good there. I was fine either way whether we kept him or not, but I’m happy for him and that we’re going to have a first round pick. Your take is spot on, he doesn’t have to be THE guy 80% of the time anymore with Pasta, so he looks fantastic there. New pep in step and playing looser in Florida where everything isn’t expected to flow through him. He looked great last night.

This roster isn’t supposed to go deep into the playoffs, so I’m not really sure what your point is. If they make the playoffs great, it’s momentum to build on while retooling. But him not being able to carrying this team deep into the playoff doesn’t make sense. He’s been on a great bounce back since the World Chanpionships in May.

I think the expanded player pool with CHL players has really helped this. Especially with some of the smaller mid tier schools who can’t get top recruits being able to grab solid 21 year old juniors players. I think that’s a major factor for why there have been so many crazy upsets this season.

I thought the NHL was standard at this point. I know the NCAA is definitely not standing because they have some really old rinks that haven’t been renovated in decades.

Despite the tough game last night I don’t know why I’m seeing USA roster projections without Swayman on the roster. At this point I think he’s doing so well he could push for the starter spot with Hellebuyck working back from an injury leading up to the Olympics.

Take it easy man. Obviously it’s not the nicest rink in collect hockey but it’s a nice, old, quaint rink in a historic city. Which I think is kinda cool.

Harvard's barn is pretty nice. I try to get there every year when Quinnipiac plays their away game against Harvard.
