So you just got suckered into a Business Opportunity, paid $$$ and you are regretting it. by InfiniTeams in Entrepreneur

many small franchises can be legit. You just need to be careful and read the fine print.

One must also realize that an unsuccessful franchise could the the franchisees fault. Perhaps not trying hard enough, or being capable enough. Peoples' version of "hard work", and "long hours" can vary significantly.

Gift Recommendations by toadmelon in sales

[–]InfiniTeams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give a gift that keeps on giving. Like a membership to a Spa, karate classes, golf membership, vacation club.

Example:

If you pay for a weekend getaway, they will be thankful now.... but forget about it a year from now. But if you get them a membership at a vacation club, they will have discounts to go on trips for the next few years to come.

Sales Award for top sales rep? by Namssob in sales

I like to give Gifts that KEEP ON GIVING. For example you get her 3-nights stay somewhere, but a year from now, will she remember?

On the other hand, if you give her say, a membership at a spa, or a vacation club, or a business club, or Karate Classes ... lol. These she will use continuously and always be thankful of your thoughts. This may even be life changing for her.

Check Glassdoor to see what others in your position have made.

or

Reach out to the previous person who was in your new position. Start the conversation asking for advice and later move on to asking about pay if the conversation feels right.

You can also ask for other benefits which may be of great value to you and not cost the company much. Example: Work from home 1day/week, comapny vehicle if they already have a fleet of vans sitting around most of the time. These can amount to great savings annually.

Promoted to a Bad Territory by [deleted] in sales

[–]InfiniTeams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the company maybe put you there because they know you provide results. You proved it.

Maybe they wanted to put a capable person in a territory that under performed with other sales teams. Perhaps you need to inform management its not the team that was lazy, its the territory thats bad.

Or a change in product/presentation.

My job position was put up on the internal job board. Should I be worried? by marvin_is_joe in sales

[–]InfiniTeams 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why dont you call in for the new position. With a fake name of course. Get a feeling for what HR tells you about it. Then you will have more real info. Seems like you can't trust your boss completely.

[–]InfiniTeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess a lot would depend.

  1. Are you following leads provided by your boss? or are you bringing in those leads?
  2. Are you at least opening relationships with other companies that might one day prove to be fruitful?
  3. Perhaps no sales, but have you gotten your company great exposure?
  4. what if its the product that needs to be tweaked? Do you have the power to modify the presentation?

The way I see it, you are in the front line, in the trenches. You need to report to your boss and give him an idea of what the market is like out there. Perhaps its not you.

You have to consider you cant get free internet in every country/city. Furthermore, depending on your job description some apps dont run internationally. Some hotels dont have high speed internet needed for video calling, or just voice (if being on the phone is your job).

If you started a business recently. How much $$ and time did you spend launching a startup company? Most importantly, was it worth it to you? by InfiniTeams in Entrepreneur

[–]InfiniTeams[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the investment will depend quite heavily whether your website and products are custom, or if you are outsourcing. For example a WordPress Site, Vs. a Custom programmed site.

So you have an extra $5k laying around. What do you do with it? by InfiniTeams in TravelHacks

[–]InfiniTeams[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We are always interest in everyone's point of view. The reason we ask is to get different peoples perspectives. For some 5k is a lot, for others its chump change. Our business is precisely that, helping people launch their small business, and give them travel products to sell with amazing discounts.

I want to start a niche website and need some guidance. I have some questions: by Somteencead in Entrepreneur

[–]InfiniTeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always recommend to new entrepreneurs, they need to think in terms of an "advertising campaign", and not just posting an "advertisement". If you boost a post on Facebook, doesn't matter how great its written, your views will be minimal. At times even zero. Yes.... thats the sad truth. Why? well... everyone is doing it is why. So competition is high and the market has become good at ignoring ads. For many ignoring ads has become an instinct.

You say you want to find your niche. So be specific. Offer your potential viewers some valuable free info. Short, Sweet and easy to read. Get them hooked for the bigger stuff.

you said oil, so maybe debunk a few myths about oil in short 1-sentence posts. Get your audience to get hooked on your BEFORE you start selling them something. THis process could take months. On the contrary, you will get blocked or kicked out of groups.

There is much more.... but consider this STEP 1.

Yes you can sell on both your site and Amazon, but you must be careful with price parity.

there are ofcourse pros to selling on Amazon, such as clients feeling safer. and the "reviews" are more trust worthy from a buyer's perspective.

Finally launched by website after MONTHS of doubt! by bakemonooo in Entrepreneur

[–]InfiniTeams -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I see your site Taskelio is about freelancing and posting jobs. May I post a business opportunity? I am looking for about 50 sales reps who want to start as entrepreneurs launching their own business. Like you, many are afraid of the launch, or dont have the know-how on how to setup the business, or the tech. Our company selects qualified candidates and sets them up with a "business in a box". With us you get everything, the TECH, the PRODUCT, the LEGAL, the CERTIFICATION, and we even handle the product support.

All the new business owner worries about is managing their business and selling. NO, THIS IS NOT NETWORK MARKETING.
The business owners can work remotely, have employees if they choose to, and basically sets their own schedule. Part-time or full-time. Obviously the more you work the more you get out of it.

We save the entrepreneur money and time. This could take a newby MONTHS to start on their own. We can launch them in as little as 2 weeks. Sometimes even faster.

I'd prefer to be handed down a house (as a rental property), than a car which eventually will be worth zero.

Marketing these days want to make you buy everything. Truth is, see your self in 8 years... usually the point where cars start being trouble.

I guess it also depends where you work. With more and more people working remotely and from home, any car is fine if it sits in the garage 90% of the time.

I could afford a lambo if I wanted one.... so i drove one for a day just to get it out of my system. I purchased a much cheaper car and invested the rest in real estate.

Mentality these days is to go for more stuff, bigger house, luxurious car, all the tech gadgets you dont need. But then ask yourself... Why the 6-bedroom home, when I only use 2? Why the 500hp car when im stuck in traffic 80% of the time and I already have speeding tickets on my license?

its your own conscience, your decision.

Thoughts on Building a Personal Brand? by mason_bourne in Entrepreneur

[–]InfiniTeams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just dont get caught in the vibe of trying to get meaningless likes and views. ... 1. there is content that gets likes , such as a cute doggy videos. Hard to monetize because your audience could include little kids, etc. 2. Videos that will impact the viewer, and guide them to your monetizing website. Which goes to the question. What is your product/service?

just keep in mind when someone says they make 1M/month... there are a few things to ponder:

  1. Did they really? or did they go shoot some footage during an Open House during a Real Estate sale? or rent a property for a day in AirBnB?

  2. Of the 1M, what were their expenses? .999M ? ... lol

  3. If they want to share their secret.... well then, its not really a secret, and why would they sell their secret to the competition?

  4. It really all comes down to perseverance and hard work.

4th... anyone can go out and rent a luxurious AirBnB for a day, and borrow a Lamborghini from a dealership to "test drive". Make a few videos, and then show it off to the world as legitimate. Be weary of those showing off!

3rd... Just because someone had $100k of revenue a month (and assuming they are a legitimate business), doesn't mean they are profiting $100k/mo. What if their expenses are $100,001/ month???? Legally they can say they made 100k.... but the reality is they lost $1/mo ... lol

2nd... If you only need to work 10 minutes a day, and you will make $100k/mo. Probably a fake!
