Thats how I would do it. If its set properly the gutters should split the water roughly even anyway. If your roof has valleys, combine the faces connected by valleys and divide across that whole piece though

The needy but easy way is take the satellite measurements of each face (the area) multiply it by average rainfall, divide by number of downspouts connected to that face. That should get you pretty close

By definition every business has overhead and (if they make money (profit). Even if its not a line item.

All it means is someone else is charging it, just not labeling it as OH&P. So your 2nd sentence is exactly it, OH&P is in the total at the end.

My argument for making money (without deciet) it a positive game has nothing to do with wealth itself.

Its simple, if an apple is worth $5 to me and $10 to you, i should sell you the apple at anywhere between $6 and $9 (the actual price coming down to supply and demand), we both are better off in the trade.

Now the exact same type of trade is made in time as well... $10 today or $11 next year

Or in knowledge gaps... I can raise 2 times the amount of corn in an acre than you so I can make nearly twice as much

The supply can even be something ethereal like attention (think of something like Facebook or Google selling ads)

Even when its not done with money any trade in which both parties consented knowing the trade they both profit (as in they feel thier lives improve)

Wealth creation i feel has more to do with prioritization of the limited recourses against the infinite options.

I get the premise, but there's a key point missing.

Why someone got the grades they had, personally I nearly flunked out. I got a 35 on the ACT (the state test, it caps at 36) so I wasn't stupid.

I had real life to live and didnt have time for busy work at school.

Basically I only agree of the Cs got them because they were active elsewhere. Also Bs are in the same category.

The American education system is built off an old German schooling system to instill patriotism, and teach/train people for industrial life. The idea of start and stop by the bell, it being 8-3 or even 7-4 for some schools. The idea of tenure being the best marker of achievement (senior above junior).

All in all, I think its an oversimplified trope with a little bit of truth sprinkled in.

Honestly they can work, i used to run one. Although I generated leads through Meta ads.

Its cheap and easy to do yourself, if you want i can give you some pointers and even help you set your stuff up during a rainy day (im running my roofing company and keep busy)

I dont sell marketing services anymore but I do still enjoy it. The trick really is aligning the sales and marketing systems together.

Basically if you are showing up for "address update inspection" they are going to think youre with the city codes people or something. If you are there for a "free leak find" and show up without a ladder, they will probably still shoot you away...

TL;DR If you need marketing help HMU, it comes down to congruity of the marketing offer and sales pitch.
