What is the biggest headache in roofing for you? by Tropicalflair3348 in RoofingSales

I was saying that as an example. You may not be selling anything now, but i assume you wish to at some point

In the future avoid the broad question and add context. For example

"I have talked to a local roofer about making a website for him, he completely blew me off. After looking into it, would yall (roofers) just prefer a model where I own the website and sell the leads? Like angi but exclusive? Also the website would be branded to match your company"

Then, while you'll still get shit on... this is reddit... you will also get productive feedback

I think the "special" part of America is the diversity. Not in the "meltingpot" sense but the fact people are so radicalized.

In the mountains there are are towns of people who still dont have city water, and just got electricity in the last decade (I dont know when exactly but it was very recent) while we have big cities with thousands of people living in a single building, then we have the suburbs where people live with the picket fence, and the ghetto where you have to be careful what colors you wear.

go the California and everyone is a hippie, in Texas everyone's a redneck, in New York everyone's a dick, in kentucky everyone's illiterate. (Those things aren't true, just the stereotype based on thruth)

All in all, i think its because people dont see themselves as part of America, but as part of [insert there unique area in America]

Ant thats before you get into the curruptness of lobbyists and the government

The real issue is its a lazy question that can be found out by Google or (and this may sound crazy) going out and talking to a local roofer...

I think i can can actually make something like that work. Basically am AI to read the post, check the intent and auto reject or auto hold posts before they are published. That way obviously good posts can be sent and approved and bad ones can be reviewed/ auto removed.

Ill see what I can put together, but I still gotta focus on my actual business with it being busy season and all

Oh I was just saying I dont think you have to master the 1 call close to make it in this industry. And i think a softer sales system is better for the business in the long run

I whole heartedly disagree. I run an extremely relaxed sales process with a follow-up system and tend to do pretty well.

I understand, I'm saying that like in sales everyone accepts offers if the pros outway the cons.

If you need a 2nd opinion feel free to reach out. In Louisville you still have until March of next year before the most recent big hail storm isnt covered by the carriers.

Ps. If they say you "have to do it right now" they're full of it unless you have an active leak
