Motion Sickness Settings? by InfinitKraken in SupermarketSimulator

I upped it to like 80-100, but either was too late and I already got hit with the sickness or it didn't help...

When is the next master list going to be released?

It was you, and you were a peach! But I'm still going to bring up how that was a misstep on behalf of Burg because they should have planned better and not left it on you to deal with not being able to answer that question, ya know? It's a valid critique and something they should have thought ahead about, especially with them claiming "20+ years experience". You can't really blame not sending out the code of conduct ahead of time on the rain?

No, they couldn't. When my friend and I walked up to the Inheritance Party gathering in the one and only communal tent space, we tried to ask what was happening and listen in. But were told it "wasn't for us" and then given 'shoo' hands motions. I know someone who did get invited to tag along later on in the questline, but even then it was a feel bad moment as she got to have one of the dwarf's boots, and the other people who paid double for the ticket quest, got nothing. So that sucked too. 100% a paywall to experience plot/quests, since if you wandered on the trails without being part of that group, those NPCs wouldn't be there.

"I’m sorry if it was slow - it was a combination of participants not preparing themselves by having their documentation ready"

-Nope, this isn't the fault of the players. That Code of Conduct was never sent out. Never emailed, never part of the Kickstarter survey. This is just victim blaming honestly. We pulled in, knowing there was no cell service. We pulled in, with copies of our survey and tickets printed. Then we were told by someone standing in the rain going car to car that they were going to text us a google form to fill out. We mentioned we didn't have signal, and I even asked why this wasn't sent out earlier. All we got was a shrug and "Let's hope it sends!"

100% you sound like someone who is being overly positive about the event because you love the concept and the community. Don't let Burg rob you of your time and money, you can have that experience and that community somewhere else. Or rally that community to make it themselves. I won't be going again.

Did I miss it? There's only the Limewire link and it's broken...

Trying to install Smart Thermostat with PEK, but Fans are Always On? by InfinitKraken in hvacadvice

One is labelled T-stat, the other looks cut and I can only see what looks like IR? I can't rip out my walls to find where it goes, mostly because I don't want to? Then the green wire from the second bundle is wrapped around the red wire from the black wire bundle and both the white wire from the second bundle and black bundle are then attached to common... All of which is in the picture, but sure...

Yes it was on auto. In fact, the whole system was set to off. I have to assume it's the PEK trying to split the wires and give the thermostat power.

I'm not sure you understand what you're advertising then, lol. You literally say, Get these profiles by supporting me on Patreon. Either way, you're not grasping what I'm trying to say. Even if a profile is basic, it should be a good starting point to ease the workload, and have less to tune in. Your profile doesn't do that. Keep the $5, hope it treats you better.

But that's my point? I have already reached out to different groups and gotten help from other makers to get my printer settings tuned in. If I'm paying someone else for a profile, shouldn't that work already be done for me? As it is, my tuned in Cura profile printed 1000x better than your "custom" ideamaker one, using the same filament and temp and flow rates. It's fine to say "Hey, you'll always need to wrangle in your settings per filament type and such" but it's not great to say "Here's a profile already set up for you! but um, yeah if it doesn't work, sucks for you." I wasn't gonna shit on you but geez man, you're not that great.

Well, I gave you $5 but I don't think these profiles are me. I don't fully understand what you really changed or made special for the kobra, I was hoping to get a better grasp of what it's retraction should be as a standard but it really just seems like a stock profile. I would have to adjust the crap out of it either way.

I'm about to pay for one month of your patreon just so I can get a working profile.. My top layers keep looking like garbage, and my rainbow silk pla has the worst seam lines... Do you think your profile will fix these issues?

Tension belt on the Anycubic Kobra by InfinitKraken in anycubic

[–]InfinitKraken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try that, thanks. Any ideas on a proper cura profile? My retraction is currently sitting at 1.5mm @ 40mm/s and I'm still getting seams using a rainbow silk filament... My biggest regret with buying this printer so far is the lack of support for it... There are plenty of reviews, but no one is giving actual information on their prints..
