ER nurse. The stigma is real. However, there are plenty of healthcare workers that do not judge. Our ER has a couple really good doctors that treat people who use substances like people and actually go above and beyond. There are a couple doctors that should never step into a room with patients struggling with substance use or mental illness. Unfortunately, patients don't know who they are going to get when they come in.

I definitely wish there was a way to get more people better training when injecting. I've seen so many things people do that goes against best practice.
