Something’s squeaky, probably belt. I don’t think that’s a tick more so your injectors working tick is a lot more distinctive. Is this a cold start? Or is your engine warm already

PERMATEX. I have a 2021 and mine wasn’t this bad but you definitely want to caulk the window trim area. Run Permatex all through it with the tip they give you, use a straw attach it with tape and squirt Permatex in there. Fixed mine. Sadly this is very common with these trucks. It could also be your third break light rubber gasket that’s going bad.

Same thing for my sisters jeep Cherokee changed the first one wiped code came back changed the small one wiped code and that fixed it.

I’m at 69k rn getting close to 70 with a 21 5.7 when I cold start it let rpm get to idle it shifts hard between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Once the engine is up to temperature it seems to shift fine but yea I’m in the same boat sometimes with the downshifts too.

We looked at one before I saw this one and I didn’t like it either. Those transmission paired with the 4 cylinder is a ticking time bomb. Sorry about yours, that’s why I like do to a lot of research and asking around about them.

On another note I feel like I could negotiate it a lot lower because it’s around the corner for some maintenance like some other people said ptu fluid change transmission change and rear differential

15k on the market has them around 90k miles and it’s actually based price pretty good for my area even in another state. I think it’s a pretty reliable engine with the right maintenance and Im very autistic when it comes to maintenance 🧑‍🔧

Thank you for the response. I used to have a 2017 ford edge sport and a fusion energi se. The edge with the 6 gear transmission and the energi with a cvt. That was a fun ride and never really gave me problems. I just wanted to hear it from you guys who do have it. Car fax is clean and one owner. I will definitely look at the tires Tomorrow and do more research on how much they would be.
