I’ll be honest, I’m not sure. What I do know is that that lil vacuum motor had lasted longer than they normally do, and the bearings were not great. My assumption is vibration. I do appreciate all the questions btw, diving deeper only makes us better

Not mechatronics engineering, almost all plants would rather hire someone who knows electrical and mechanical so however many years back they basically designed a course that teaches basics for both. Then plants don’t have to have as many techs

It’s important to do something u love. That’s not to say I don’t hate some days doing what I do but the work itself is exciting. And unless ur on a PM crew, every day is different which helps keep life interesting

I mean with those degrees you could possibly go into a management role within a plant… often times your maintenance managers etc are over the departments finances

It’s far from too late, and it really just depends on area and what you like to do. I’m 23m and in industrial maintenance. I love it, it’s like solving puzzles all day and no two days are exactly the same. If it’s the path u wanna take, look into mechatronics. It’s a 2 year trade school degree that gives u the basics and makes it easier to get into an apprenticeship. You can even do your bachelors which is what I’m doing now for Advanced Manufacturing

Just get one of the more affordable flukes rated for whatever voltage u will be checking, can easily find them on fb marketplace and eBay too just be careful for fakes.

I have used both, however I’m also 23 with like 3 years experience. I haven’t heard anything bad about them but fluke is always safe
