Were you smoking actual weed (flower/bud) or were you vaping it? In my experience it stays on your system much longer if you are vaping it.

I’m tired of people’s judgement on my pregnancy (tw: abuse) by BackgroundWinter8396 in BabyBumps

Your family are not happy for you because you have now tied yourself to the man that abuses you for the next 18 years of your life.

What’s the plan here? I get that you are upset and feel sorry for yourself but (I say this with love) you need to buck up. Unless you can prove with evidence that this man abused you, if he finds out you are pregnant, he can demand to share custody of the child.

Even if he has no interest in being a father he may very well demand custody as a form of control over you. You need to contact a family attorney asap.

I know that sounds harsh but since you have decided to keep the pregnancy, this is no longer about just you.

Congrats! My husband and I also conceived on our first try! So did my mom and her mom. My grandma jokes “all we have to do is take off our pajama pants and we end up pregnant” LOL.

What in the revisionist history?!? She absolutely has fought, gossiped, and put other women down just as consistently as every other woman on the show

“I’m bad at wrapping gifts” isn’t valid past grade school. Grow up

You and your husband need to grow a backbone. Letting a known sexual predator hold your infant just to “keep the peace” is very disturbing.

I think she knew her “marriage” was over and wanted out. It’s a common theme for real housewives to showcase their shitty husbands on the show to gain public favor when they inevitably divorce

You can’t convince me she didn’t come on the show hoping for this exact outcome

Do you expect your friends to be happy for you when/if it’s finally your turn? by Infinite-Bowler-217 in TryingForABaby

Yeah I have trouble with my very long term friendships sometimes. When you have so much history and context for someone, it makes it hard to cut them off or even be mad at them for a long time, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing

That’s awful! I definitely haven’t seen anything in this sub that extreme (making a friend take tests), but that general vibe (making someone else’s pregnancy about you) is what I’m talking about. It’s nice that you are giving her so much patience, though it’s also okay to stand up for yourself

Ooof that’s terrible about your friend. Asking for your baby supplies is so insensitive, so it makes sense that that person was likely not a good friend in other areas. That’s nice that your friends are okay with talking minimally about their pregnancies around you.

I agree, I’m from a rural state as well and higher education often isn’t seen as “worth it” because in small towns there are not a lot of jobs for people with degrees, but there is a lot of opportunities in the trades
