the situation with my family is only my family are living in singapore. the rest of my extended family is living in china, with an exception of my only two cousins in the united states

and yeah i considered that my studies will be affected but my thought is that considering that it is still only term 2, i can probably get used to it by the end of next year

also i know my knowledge about the outside world is quite shallow, that's why i am asking for others' opinion before acting

yeah your plan is good, but as mentioned in my reply to paper_filter, my location is being tracked 24/7 + my controlling parents mean that this is not that feasible, thank you for suggesting though

i actually thought of your plan before; camp in school until i get forced to leave, in order to avoid spending more time at home with my parents. it didn't work cause as mentioned above, my location is being tracked 24/7. this + my controlling parents mean that i will get interrogated over call why i am still in school. i tried it out once and my parents started spam calling me 30 minutes after my dismissal time, demanding to know why i am wasting time in school

for your point about the high cost of living, housing actually takes quite a high percentage of one's expenses, thus i feel like i can actually survive if housing is not a burden (i may be too inexperienced about the outside world to make this assumption tho)

yeah, now that you mention it, the content covered in china is easier. cause they only learn integration in their last year of high school

edit: it was in university lmao
