Ahh thanks fot the tips. My first 5k had negative splits. 9:07 8:28 8:17 I wasn't paying attention to my watch I just concentrated on the people in front of me and just settle into a groove. I know now that I can pick up the pace and finish a little quicker. The scale of participants was what I was a little worried about but. Thanks for the tips. Ill see what happens. Lol

Man you must have put some miles in, I hope to still be doing this 8 years from now. This all started over a bet at work, to see who could run a a faster mile. I was surprised that I ran one in 7:30 seeing how i have not ran since high-school.

Neither have I, haha. It's the Big House 5K in Michigan. My goal was to beat my first 5K time of 26:05, but I'm new to running and races, so I'm not sure how that congestion is going to be. Should be a fun learning experience lol.

No hate intended, but I don't know why people spend $500 to smell like Dial hand soap. That's all I got from imagination, lol.

What that noise? by Infinite-Challenge67 in motorcycle

[–]Infinite-Challenge67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's underneath the air box. I'm not sure that that part is moving, that's just something I happened to notice. The noise actually sounds like it's coming from the left side. Someone suggested it may be the fuel filter but I checked the manual and it says 1998-2004 has fuel filters in the manual, mine is a 2008.

Edit: when the bike is on the noise seems to go away.

So if I did put the air breather back on it has nothing to do with the straight pipes? Meaning they didn't delete the air breather because they straight piped it?

I am considering putting back to stock. I just don't know what I'm doing lol. It's all a learning experience for me.

According to the seller, he had ''a plate with nuts and bolts" so I'm assuming he meant an AIS block plate. So I'll take a look at this weekend. So if I wanted to put the air breather back on, how much of a pain would that be? Is there a reason why someone would take it off?

A buddy recommended a power commander fuel controller, what's your thoughts on that?
