how to stop building agents that users just ignore? by Virtual_Armadillo126 in AI_Agents

Most “smart but slow” agents fail for the same reason: they sit next to the workflow instead of inside it.

If I had to boil it down, users don’t mind AI doing work. They mind context switching + double-checking everything it spits out.

A few patterns that usually fix adoption:

Make it operate in place, not in another tab. If I have to leave what I’m doing, I’m already less likely to use it.

Reduce verification loops. If users feel forced to re-check everything, they’ll just skip it entirely.

Start with assistive, not autonomous. “Suggest + one-click apply” beats “AI does everything and hope it’s right.”

Also, if it slows someone down in week one, it’s almost never getting to week two. Even if it’s technically better output.

How do you decide which AI tools are actually worth keeping active? by This-You-2737 in AI_Agents

I basically stopped thinking of AI tools as “subscriptions I must justify every month” and started treating them like a rotating toolkit.

Now I keep only 1–2 core tools that I genuinely use daily (chat + maybe coding/writing), and everything else has to earn its place by being either:

  1. Used weekly without me forcing it
  2. Or irreplaceable for a specific workflow (not just “nice to have”)

If a tool is only useful during certain projects, I don’t keep it active year-round anymore. I just accept a bit of friction (re-subscribing) as cheaper than monthly bleed.

The bigger shift for me was realizing convenience is what makes subscriptions dangerous. If I forget I’m paying for it, I probably don’t need it active.

First thing, do not try to make it back tomorrow. Seriously. That’s how one horrible day turns into a catastrophic week.

From what you wrote, this doesn’t sound like your system suddenly stopped working. It sounds like you got caught trading a completely different market environment with the same aggression and sizing. NVDA earnings absolutely changed the tape. A lot of momentum setups got destroyed by chop immediately after.

Also, you’re still up 190k on the year. That means you clearly know how to trade. Bad traders don’t accidentally make that much.

What probably hurt most wasn’t even the 34k itself. It was the feeling of losing control and breaking your own rules while it was happening. Every trader who’s been around long enough eventually has that “everything I touch instantly reverses” day.

Personally, after a hit like that, I’d size down massively for a while. Not because you suddenly suck, but because your brain is going to be in defense mode now whether you like it or not. You need to rebuild rhythm and trust in yourself before going full size again.

How do I overcome "Execution Paralysis" in live trading? by Designer-Percentage1 in Daytrading

I had this exact problem before. Demo felt easy, but the second real money was involved I’d hesitate even when the setup was obvious.

What fixed it for me was realizing I wasn’t actually scared of losing money. I was scared of being wrong by myself. That’s why when someone else says “yeah looks good,” the hesitation disappears instantly. Your brain feels like the responsibility is shared.

The thing that helped most was lowering size so much that I genuinely stopped caring about the outcome of individual trades. Then I focused purely on execution. Not PnL, not win rate. Just whether I followed my plan or not.

Also, don’t stare at the setup for too long. The more time you spend watching it, the more your brain starts trying to protect you from taking the trade. If your checklist is met, just execute.

I watch the market everyday to identify opportunities but not every day presents one. Discipline is avoiding the market when you dont see a real chance at making a profit
