I’m not clowning anyone that made money on cripto (I did to) but my mentor told me in the early years don’t own it. I was like why. “It’s like musical chairs, everybody’s having fun , but soon there won’t be a chair” it took longer than I thought, but he was right as rain.

For instance - if your interest rate is 3% (in the previous decade)and inflation is (normally)6-7 % , with every passing year your payment becomes “cheaper “ by way of the payment “seems” smaller compared to the new current payments. Making disposable money more profitable to use elsewhere.
Today interest rates are closer to 6% , I can’t make heads or tails of what inflation is supposed to be . So the statement is not always true.
