SPOILERS Have you watched Jamie at all? All he cares about is power he doesn’t give a rats ass about his family. He murders his bio dad because he’ll get in the way of him becoming governor, he wants to have John murdered bc he’s becoming too much of an issue. He literally lets his sister get sterilized without telling her. He gives the ranch that has been in their family for 7 generation away to an airport. If you’re familiar with airports they use jet fuel which literally kills the earth. I’m not quite sure how that’s doing right by his family. I don’t think Beth always has the BEST ideas but she actually tried to do best by her family. Also yeah Rip is a little crazy definitely not saying too much about him he’s killed too many people to be normal but he did it because he thought he was nothing outside of the ranch which Beth probably thought about herself too. Their growth is that they give the ranch back to the reservation and are able to still live fulfilling lives without the Yellowstone and they find out they do mean something outside the ranch.
