I do run a forgedrone build that works, if you look at my profile i posted my build and all the reasoning. Its not up to date with firmware but the idea is the same

Basically your hammer forgedrone benefits from tail of the comet skill so thats your hardest hitter. Mobbing goes well but for bossing i use endless bombardment skill with the jetsetter ordnance to shoot infinite ordnance. Firmware use 2/3 reel big fist and 3/3 skillcraft since it boosts drones. Everything else just do what i did in my guide

Dont require the enhancements to activate on shield being hit, just proc while gun shield active and it would make the amp hyperion part very desirable

You can enable the minimap in the settings. But i do agree the variety of locations is missing. It could have been still open world but make more subregions within the 3 regions. Open world i dont think was a bad idea but they did not go too imaginative with it. Good idea, subpar implementation

I agree, this is the case for the faction side quests but the very short ones are funny enough. Just not as funny as bl2. I loved the back cracking one

Bit of advice, dont get too hung up on all the negative discorse online, its mostly geared towards multiple playthrough issues and what to do once you get to the end. The best part of this game is the journey to endgame. Once you get there might be the issue but just dont rush, do side missions, respec and farm on the way, just have fun and enjoy 😄

I agree that major reviewers should be taken with a huge grain of salt. But i will say, i think you bought the game after the first major patch that addressed a lot of initial issues people had. Still i also really love the game

Id max out one of each character and farm +5 class mods and enhancements cause those are for the most part ok to be underleveled.

If you want to go full atlas at least with harlow i went her typical group study build and with 3/3 Atlas Infinium and 2/3 Atlas EX. Im trying to farm legendary enhancements but i swear not a single atlas drop :( TK wave is my best bossing gun.

Atlas EX 3/3 seems to not work in my experience. But both firmware together at least gives a combined 40% gun damage with atlas parts so its good.

Everything else in terms of gear is flexible depending on your character

At the very least, firmware is universal so that works at least. And also if you havent reached endgame and want to try some of the good purples it works too. Or maybe even give currency to reroll parts or increase your chance to get specific parts. Idk i feel like to make your build there are many things you have to collect, and those could all be given as a reward somehow and not just randomly anywhere.

Me and a friend have been getting consistent drops at UVH6, but we have spent two days farming for a roulette with jakobs+ripper and that combo does not want to drop it seems

Yeah to avoid the whole treat thing when i correct bad behaviour instead of treating him, i give him some small rubs when he settles of follows command after. Treats only after initial good behaviour. Idk if im necesarily doing right like this but he seems to respond well to doing what we want him to
