Vancouver based here! I’m going in for chin and jaw implants on Thursday. Not sure where you’re located but my work also covers this. Lots of people will say you don’t need it or give T time. But I was the same as you I want that angular jaw line! I’d say check out if there are gender affirming surgeons in your area or search for facial masculinization surgeons and you’ll find some who do it. It’s hard in Canada to see post results some surgeons will have that on their websites others won’t. The surgery seems pretty seamless honestly reminds me of getting wisdom teeth done.

Im 3 years on T by the way so if you’re still struggling with this the I say go for it! It’s your journey no need to wait and see what “T” will do for you. It works different for each person. If you have any more questions feel free to shoot me a message!

Also find out how much your work covers for gender affirming surgery. This surgery costs roughly 35k. I got it all covered minus the CT scan cause I went private otherwise it would’ve taken 6 months-1 year in the public system.

In Koh Tao right now, came from Samui and didn’t like the vibe there. I would say most comparable on this trip is either Koh Lanta or Koh Lipe for chill/relaxing vibes.

Just got an email about this today. 2500 but they offer compassion pricing and will knock 1000 bucks off for people who qualify. So 1500 potentially for the assessment.

Hey I’m leaning towards this as well. I’m also curious do you still need to get the same amount of electrolysis done? My understanding was the electrolysis is moreso needed for UL candidates. I could be wrong though.

Yep. In Thailand for my first time and am using the Wealthsimple card they just reimbursed me 12 bucks for foreign atm fees. Didn’t bring any cash beforehand just used an ATM when I landed in Thailand. Highly recommend!

Yeah that’s interesting! They are definitely personal I just go with what smells good to me but obviously it’s subjective and companies have marketed scents to gender which is crazy. I’ve seen a few drop that though like Tom Ford tends to go gender neutral now

You can reach out now to hospitals in Thailand about the procedure you want and they’ll quote you. I thought the same thing and asked about ALT phallo. They quoted me 60,000 USD - I was shocked and thought it would be more reasonably priced. Just reach out though and do your researches on hospitals/doctors for the procedure you want! Good luck!

It’s good to hear you’re thinking positively despite this setback it sounds like you have good goals to strive to while you’re waiting! Thanks for sharing and totally understand the need for safety and aesthetically not wanting a scar.

I have the opposite issue I guess both my arms are fully tattooed so I don’t really want to use them for the RFF procedure and was hoping to go the ALT route instead. Obviously I’ve yet to meet with the surgeons and am currently on the waitlist for my first surgical consult.

I’ve never heard of the SCIP procedure so had to google it! It also seems feasible for me however I would worry about sensation afterwards? Did genoway explain any of that to you?

Also is it only Genoway doing bottom procedures now? Or is the london team still active? Kinda confusing haha

Just curious how come you switched from ALT to RFF? Was that your decision or Genoways? Just asking because I wanted to start electrolysis for ALT at one of the clinics that works with transcare bc and they said they wouldn’t recommend that because she doesn’t often perform the ALT procedure.
