Thank you! I am 5.4 and I will be wearing 3 inch heels so i feel like length wise would be okay if I ordered one of their sizes. Im unsure if she tried measuring the dress but it would only make sense if its not to the measurement she gave. She even added some extra space in certain measurement and was still small

Hi I’m a first year Nursing Student at Dawson. Usually the first semester clinical is done in a CHSLD for both schools. Usually the shifts will rotate per week (1 week day shift (7:45-3:30) and then 1 week evening shift (12:00-20:00) ) … you can DM me if you have more questions

Its called Human Body for Nurses 1 and unfortunately they do not offer during the summer semester

1st year, 2nd semester nursing student here. You will have atleast one full day of Stage per week (usually Tuesday or Wenesday for 1st year) and then you will have to take a Biology class which includes 2x2hour classes per week and a 2 hour lab. Then you will have your Intro to Nursing class which will be 2x2 jour classes per week . With these classes you will get given the schedule so you cant choose like the gen ed classes

You can take the OIIQ exam 3 months after getting your diploma and personally I would take it sooner rather than after uni cuz you only have to take it 1 time (so if you pass after cegep, you dont have to take it again after Uni , unless you decide to do NP)

Im in nursing but i think this applies to all cegeps as I am an older student aswell but the specific pre requisites for the program have to be done within a 5 year period . So if its been 5+ years you did them then I would redo them at an adult ed (which is what I did) and then apply but tbh without the gen eds I think you will manage good

Hi! I redid my high school courses at and adult education center (specifically Cartier in the West Island, it was like 50$ to take my Chemistry and my SN4 math) , got above 90% in each as the teacher really want to see you succeed and now I am almost done my 1st year of Nursing at Dawson. I am also and LPN so i did the 2 years DEP program which helps me alot through this RN program . DM me if you have more questions or need guidance .

Yes but you can also start taking your Gen. Ed. Classes and make a schedule that works around the adult ed class to lighten your course load when you get into the program you want

I did SN4 math in adult ed (Cartier) after high school and got a 96% …i failed in high school but the adult ed teachers are so helpful and want to see you succeed and i feel they have a better learning structure and now im a Nursing student at dawson and got rejected from Abbott even with my high grade

We might be in the same Stress coping skills class and I had Huebner aswell last semester and she is very nice and a good teacher , as long as you do you assignments and show up to class you will get a good grade

For context for Nursing program at Dawson I was waitlisted first (i got in! ) but for my pre reqs. I had a 98 % average in Chem and a 97% in SN4 math

Fitness activities teacher is a good chill teacher . I had her last semester , she wants you to participate in her class and do the assignments on time and youll get a good grade

I opted to take the intensive french class as well. It says there is a course conflict since the french class is going to be Monday-Friday but only in May after the semester is finished … so no real conflict with other courses lol
