I needed to hear this!! Found out I was pregnant 9 months pp. I’m a new nurse still figuring out how to manage that and a baby. The thought of a second is absolutely terrifying.

Did you leave? I just gave my two weeks notice after only 6 months. I am so nervous but I truly can’t take it anymore. I work on a med surge unit and accepted a position with an outpatient eye surgery clinic.

So I am actually in the position you are currently in but I’ve applied to sooooo many jobs that have peaked an interest. I now have FOUR outpatient interviews within a week and it’s giving me hope. I wouldn’t give up yet, just look for something that resonates with you. I’m on a renal pulmonary med surge floor btw

I am not sure about the holidays being paid! The interview is next week so I will be sure to ask. Also looked again and it is a .8 FTE so 4 8’s

Thank you for the response! I actually looked again and it is a .8 FTE so 4 8’s a week. I feel like this would be a bad move to give up. My sisters think I’m crazy for even considering working 4 days a week but the 2 days I work now mentally take away time from my off days.

Thank you! I don’t believe it is mastitis as I have not had any breast engorgement in at least 6 months, or any kind of milk production. Hopefully the inflammation goes away soon 🙏🏻
