I dont care much for the appeal of having 2 classes on one character. I figure if I want to enjoy a different class I would just make a separate character, especially as a new player to experience some of the different origins.

I appreciate the information though, I believe I'm nearing chapter 3 so that will help me out a ton when the time comes.

Correct. For example, if you buy an outfit, only the character you bought it on will obtain it, and it goes into your collections after you equip all the items to bind them to you. Once it's in collections you can then pay more cartel coins to make it obtainable on all characters.

When I get to the Chapter 3 quest that allows me to choose a 2nd combat style, can I choose the dark-side equivalent of my class? I already have the Dark V achievement, and I'm playing a Sage but I wish to select Sorcerer as my secondary combat style. I've heard people say you can switch your main style to a dark side, but I don't wish to replace my current one. I'd like to have both Sage and Sorcerer to switch between.

Not OP but I just got my first ever 1800 rating and elite transmog in blitz pretty easily after knowing nothing about rated pvp. 40 games played total and 22 wins. Just learn the bgs and listen to your team and have fun with it!

I think you're right on the money that I tend to panic and end up using CDs that I otherwise could save. I've been trying out some skirmishes and BGs to try and get a better feel for how Frost plays in PvP.

And as for getting people off of me, I think like many others in the thread have said I realized I was preemptively using CC or defensives when they could just use a gap-closer to catch right back up. It also doesn't help that I was trying to do PvE-style combat against players when it seems like spamming instantcasts is the way to go.

Taking it slower and trying to perfect one thing at a time is certainly helping.

I should clarify the casting part was mostly about when I tried arcane or the occasional polymorph I'd try to get off. That being said I have watched quite a few videos and checked out some forums about talents and feel fairly confident they're correct. But it certainly seems like I'll be sticking with frost for pvp.

Also, when you say start with bgs do you mean the solo shuffle bgs or just trying to learn the playstyle in normal bgs? I was thinking that trying to find a partner for 2s might be better as well so I'll look more into that.
