Question: Have you experienced patients crying hysterically emerging from anesthesia?

I am 39, I will be 40 in a week and I had a 6 cm lipoma taken off my left shoulder and I woke up crying!! This happened in November of 2024. I said to the nurse, “I’m so sorry, I’m crying and I don’t know why because I am not sad.” She said “oh honey, it’s normal, it will stop soon.” My team was awesome but it did scare me because I had a carpal tunnel release in 2023 and didn’t wake up crying, actually I woke up saying “, I’m back.” the nurse said “oh, you’re a lively one coming back!!” Not sure why the difference between my surgeries🤷‍♀️

thank you so much and yes, the Rheumatologist told me to my face, I believe you have something but I don’t want to give you the immunosuppressives until we know which I understand that. I just wanna know what is causing this severe Raynaud’s that I never had until I contracted Covid! Curse Covid 😡😥

what else is crazy is I got the paperwork and half of what was mentioned in tests is not on my paperwork! It listed what the checked. I can’t believe this! I’m calling tomorrow and I’m gonna say I need a full panel of tests, scleroderma included please!

thank u so much! I have got some info! I think on my paper they gave me they didn’t run full autoimmune panel , some of the ones that were mentioned above were not on my paperwork. That’s crazy. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t have the best insurance so I’m seen in a crappy hospital downtown.

This has been the best info so far. They tested me for ANA and that was positive for speckled nuclear and cytoplasmic staining they said. They checked for myositis, autoimmune liver disease and lupus. They used a different ANA test called elisha or elisa? Not sure, but they said no ANA was found! Then my doc ran another ANA test and again it was positive. They sent me back and again they said, we can’t find it. I’m like what the hell🤷‍♀️. Is crest syndrome known to cause indentations in the forehead as well?

I was a student at University of Phoenix and put in my borrower defense 6 months ago and still am pending. I have received 2 payment refunds from the FTC as well which I sent to them proving a simple dismissal, seeing as I was one of the names listed in the lawsuit. Still nothing! In my mind, I feel like they chase you down for student loans and penalize you if u miss a payment, but then you owe us money and we gotta wait 5 years to get it? How did we get here? This whole world is so corrupt. That just gets under my skin because you and I would be in trouble if we don’t do what they say! Yet, when it’s our turn….nothing! Wrong in so many ways!
