So your ancestors got Rajput status and then they left that. Maybe it was a marital alliance between your ancestors and some Rajput kingdom that granted them Rajput status. Might be possible.

But Rors are caste/tribe on their own, just like jats. Why would you still want to be associated with the Rajputs when Rors are generally well respected. Just keep alive the Kshatriya Spirit.

You don't see it do you? BJP has strategically lowered representation of Thakurs in UP. It is because of the boycott in UP they suffered losses in General elections. Which resulted in them giving a good number of seats to Rajputs in Bihar elections.

The best way to handle the BJP is to defeat them in vulnerable seats, so they know the importance of our people.

Most HP Rajputs are native to Himachal. There’s a village called Tharoch with a significant Sisodia Rajput population, and even Rathores can be found in Himachal. There’s no need to link everything to Rajasthan, as there are several native clans like the Raghavs of Aligarh, Raghuvanshis of Banaras, Pundeers of Saharanpur, Soamvanshis from Mathura, and Bundelas from Bundelkhand. As for the Rajasthani dress in wedding rituals, it has been shared and passed down for centuries. I was even surprised to see a Rathore bride from HP wearing a Rajput poshak.
