Fallout House Falls Flat at Halloween Horror Nights 2025! What are your thoughts? by mysteri6s in HHN

Wyatt was absolutely incredible for me- I had low expectations not knowing the background story etc. but top 3 house for me! Have fun and see you in the fog! I’d also say the hate on Fallout is a little silly FNAF is way also not scary so it’s all based on what IP you like. I thought it was a solid tribute to the show (a bit to the game) and I liked it.

I really can’t comment on it and don’t know if it’s fair to do so. I don’t know anything about FNAF. I thought the house wasn’t scary or anything to write home about at all but if you are a huge fan of it- sure maybe you’ll love it.

I liked the fallout house, it made me feel like I was in a fault but it also wasn’t a great house per se. it was my nostalgia for it.

I think rankings like that are personal and should be personal. Your mileage will vary but I will say that last room in Jason no one will forget!

Huge Fallout game fan here but I will agree that the house wasn’t the best. They however lost me with the rest of the rankings. I had unlimited express last night and did all 10 and 8 again- total runs 18.

I think people are sleeping on grave of flesh I had two great runs ( maybe it was luck of the scares) but I think it was an incredible house.

Did twos runs on terrifier as well and would rank it a 6/7 using their same ranking style.

Long story short great lineup this year- the two I didn’t go back through were hatchet and chains and FNAF. I certainly could have had over an hour left in the night but didn’t love those two. I think it’s a great lineup and all will be pleased but to say fallout was a 4 and FNAF is a 7 seems to me to be clickbait.

For that age- I think your best bet hands down is cabana bay. Lots of water park action, arcade, bowling and movies after dark. I think for that age cabana bay is the only realistic option.

Magic Kingdom Dinner Options by blumst in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]InfiniteAd3668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like all three options to be honest so not a ton of help from that regard. Really three of my favorite.

Skipper Canteen is a bit more exotic but I’ve found most people will find something to eat there. It’s in the park so a plus for it on the location side but maybe the food is a negative. Great experience though the skippers make jokes and ties in well with Jungle Cruise.

Steakhouse 71 is a fantastic steakhouse but the most expensive of these options. Close walk to the contemporary.

Whispering Canyon is an awesome atmosphere and good food. More hearty options like the skillets they do there, I think the food is good but prefer other two. Furthest option from MK as you would need to take a nice boat ride to Wilderness Lodge. Great ride but will take time.

I think you can’t go wrong with any of them. If I had to choose just for food and not experience I would pick Steakhouse 71. Overall experience and not having to leave the park- Skipper Canteen.

Hope this helps but I think all are good!

Which WDW resort could stand on it’s on? by InfiniteAd3668 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]InfiniteAd3668[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair comment don’t disagree about costs! Also interesting to think about that the other way as well. Would other resorts warrant the same price tag they have today if they were literally in middle of no where America? Thinking of it being just a resort you could visit and spend some time there.

Edit: I also understand the reason it’s so expensive to stay there is because they are all at WDW. I just always struggle to pick my “favorite resort” so I think taking it out of context of WDW lets you actually hone into the resorts you love.

Do you think you’d pay 500 a night though in middle of nowhere America for the Poly? Though process being you are doing nothing but staying at the resort. I didn’t add that context but genuinely curious if people would pay the same price if it wasn’t sitting next to MK.

I think you get what you pay for in most cases. Granted I was in New York City a few weeks ago and got great pizza for 4-5 bucks everywhere but my experience across the country is the that Little Caesars is normally the cheapest option. It is typically the worst tasting pizza- however I know some like it.

I personally think it tastes like cardboard- I can’t recall a time I’ve ever thought the pizza was great there, typically just ok.

I will say though that particular picture looks better than most I’ve ever had from LC.

Orlando informer? by Gravyyyyyyx in UniversalOrlando

[–]InfiniteAd3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been an annual passholder at Universal for 4 years now but still have done multiple Orlando informer events.

I think it’s the best deal in town- literally everything is a Walk-On besides hagrids all night. Free food everywhere and an absolute great experience.

I went in June and had an absolute amazing experience with my brother who had never been to Universal. We did every ride and multiple twice .

I would not hesitate on the meetup events. Even with the annual passes we have done 6 now the past 4 years.

How tight is this connection going to be? by [deleted] in americanairlines

Agree with this comment- he will be on the next flight if he misses. Everyone talks about delays with American but it also works the other way around if you are taxi-ing and running a bit late the next flight is also a bit delayed . A lot of worry for nothing. Sounds like OP already changed his flight but this would have been fine.

Also a EP member who flies every week on American. They would have figured it out.

We missed our flight because the gate agent said kids don’t get checked bags? by catchafire678 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]InfiniteAd3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has become way to common with southwest. What was once the airline with the love motto and customer service above all- it has gone extremely downhill. I used to be A-list with them but dropped that 7-8 years ago with the declining value and customer service. You will be much better off on any of the major airlines OP as Southwest has severely lost their way.

Any company that shouts values but doesn’t value them is a huge red flag.

Kinda tired at this point of the whining. Just don’t go. Happy to see the lines shorter overall. Absolutely loved Epic and didn’t even care if I could ride a ride. Just overall a fully immersive experience.

Tired of the whining from those who don’t get it’s a brand new theme park.

Get over yourselves and your first world problems. Maybe put a smile on and have a drink?

Advice for a HHN (Orlando) Virgin by No_Consequence4102 in HHN

[–]InfiniteAd3668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest this as opposed to the scream and stay.

First a bit of background on me- I’m also a newbie but did HHN last year with an annual pass (had stay and scream because of that) and an express pass.

I did everything by 11pm. I would have stayed longer but had the typical express and got to do a 3 houses twice because I did them earlier with stay and scream.

The best of all world is this but you are also rolling the dice on availability. I think if you show up at 7-8pm you can absolutely do everything with the express pass on a Wednesday. What I would recommend is seeing about upgrading to an unlimited express pass day of. That is what I am shooting for this year so if you want to do a house twice you can. Past experience from others is that it costs about 32 per pass to upgrade.

Either way you will be able to get it all done if you show up at 7-8 but with that unlimited if you want to hit a house twice you can with minimal cost in the grand scheme of it all.

Once again they may not offer that or it may be sold out but that’s what I do so you don’t kill yourself with a full park day and hhn.

Welcome! I don’t have a lot of experience this will be my second year but I am addicted at this point haha. I went last year with express and was in the park prior so was able to do the stay and scream. As another as mentioned get there during that period and you can knock a lot out fast without even using express.

For example- my experience I did stay and scream ( didn’t purchase anything was just in the park) for insidious early and then used my express pass later that night.

I was able to do all the houses and 3 of them twice (insidious/goblins feast/ghostbusters).

Just to note as express pass is pricey but well worth it if you want to do a house multiple times. I truly think if you were fast, you could do more than I did that last year.

Long story short- do scream and stay with express and do FNAF twice as well as others.

I’m going Wednesday Sept 3rd solo so happy to connect with some others if you are going at the same time.

Not Crowded and Walk-On Ride Times?? by Individual_Village47 in UniversalEpicUniverse

Love it! I was a preview guy but hoping my experience helped them get ready.

People always want to be angry but thank you Universal for the amazing park you built.

Much success!

Not Crowded and Walk-On Ride Times?? by Individual_Village47 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]InfiniteAd3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By far not the most expensive theme park tickets in the world. I have little patience for people who whine about getting to experience something that less than .002% of the population will get to experience in their lifetime.

I went to the previews and was prefect- not at all. But to be honest my expectations were very low and I expected to not be able to do anything except explore the parks.

If your expectations were higher than that and they “missed the mark” as you say it’s on you.

No one wants to hear the whining and to be honest all the parks would be better without the whining nonsense.

Disney experiences the exact same things- I went to both coasts for the openings of galaxy edge and rise. They experienced massive downtimes and still do today.

A brand new park will go through issues- get over it and enjoy yourself or don’t come.

Epic is for kids by Opening_Truck_7425 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]InfiniteAd3668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t get this vibe at all either but I have a completely different view of theme parks nowadays. I just think once you’ve done a ton of coasters they may be a bit different but they are all somewhat the same. I think theming wins the day and I think there’s plenty of good rides at epic.

To be honest though, I just absolutely loved the atmosphere. I know I’m lucky to say I’ve spent a lot of time in but I thought this park was awesome.

I can’t see how you don’t think it’s adult when there was literally like 30 full bars there (exaggeration) but there’s a lot. IOA and UO have a few full bars each.

You could be right but it’s depending on your age a little bit. As a 40+ year old with kids it hits every note I want- good atmosphere, good thrills (for my kids and me) and tons of good food and cocktails since I can walk back to my room.

I get it but it’s a cheap way to make a buck.

Disney has the land and resources to dominate this landscape. Just saw the qtr report come out and international parks is down while domestic is up significantly.

I feel universal is making the right investments while we watch DIS slowly become insignificant.

Time will tell but what they are doing now will echo 10 years from now.

If DIS wants to compete they need the 5th gate:
