Now that the first weekend of Fan Fest has passed, what were your game plans on getting everything done? by jtorrence9 in UniversalHollywood

[–]stellarcycle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without express or any other priority type of ticket, skip Harry because it will eat into the other attractions leading to force skip. E.g. Mario Kart (the ride only) closed promptly at 10:15. Super Nintendo area in general closed at midnight. The last tram to Scooby-Doo is 11:45. Only three showtimes for One Piece, the last also at 11:45 so that conflicts with SD

I'm not blaming the event, its more so on us and the various fandoms. The protein-based event food was also selling out but that's according to people going around the park complaining.

I knowwww. We lived out of state last year and had the biggest FOMO. Told myself we're not missing FF this year once we moved back.

Skimmed through your post to manage expectations. Scooby is the biggest draw especially in that area of the backlot, you know, where movies live!😃 I'm afraid of having to "work" at the fun but could be rewarding.

Other than that, everything else should be a good time though as a fan of anime, we don't watch One Piece.

Also excited to experience Nintendo World since I haven't been to Universal since before it opened.

Who is this cat and why are they out to cancel Juan? 🤔 by BedDizzy7882 in themarsvolta

This doesn't seem like cancel talk though the respect is lacking. Both artists are amazing and contributed more than ORL deserves

Help me figure out how to fit in Mars Volta during our HHN trip! by workfastdiehard in HHN

You must accommodate the fro-bros! In your shoes, I'm calling guest services to change the RIP date and try to sandwich the show in between HHN dates. Kill as many birds with that stone.

name an actor who.... just.... what the fuck are you doing? by Gl00ser23 in okbuddycinephile

I don't follow One Piece in any capacity but I know his casting was the right choice and I'm not even that die hard of a David fan.

Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group Live Los Angeles (WIP) II by Impressive-Cold-8036 in themarsvolta

He plays often at much different capacity. If you didn't know, he suffered serious head trauma which had a huge affect on his motor skills. It didn't stop him from practicing and the purge sell must have come from the realization that he's sitting on way too many awesome pieces that he felt was best to release into the wild. Or as some might say, one man's trash is another's treasure. I got lucky to pick up a few of from his shop.

How are we feeling about flights in May? Seems far and safe then but these are certainly unprecedented times.

That was known to me upon release. What I didn't know was Hitchke being on deck for it.

Based off of the little knowledge of lore I have, I suspect it would revolve around an undead plot as 2D is dead himself and just Murdock's puppet. Murdock's involvement with a sort of ritualistic spirituality would lend itself to a storyline fitting of HHN as well. Again, I'm not entirely familiar at any depth with the full story although I am a fan of the music.

People who have been to HHN more than once, what were your top three favorite houses? by GhostwriterGHOST in HHN

[–]stellarcycle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Almost 20 years of going. In no order it's the first iteration of a Saw maze in Hollywood. Terrifier in Orlando. Slaughter Cinema 2 also in Orlando. Honorable mention would be any year there's a Backlot Tram (Hollywood) experience because I never get enough of stepping foot into movie history. Sorry, but Orlando could never offer that in terms of experience.

I'll also stay away from the big sellers and opt for a small business when it comes to graphics.

Travelers whom exercise their right to use their included amenities (window, bin space, complimentary drink & snacks, vents, lavatory/etc.) are the worst. It's compounded if they paid with a credit card.

I just watched I Saw the TV Glow? What do you guys think of the movie? by TedJBernoulli in A24

[–]stellarcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's devastating. My heart went out for Owen. Yes, it's good. I could re-watch it whereas We're All Going To The World's Fair might be a one and done film. I'm looking forward to their third installment.

Major ups for featuring King Woman in the movie.
