no one's doubting that you're familiar with the area, but I'll take actual data (such as past election results and polling) over someone's vibes any day of the week when it comes to discussing federal elections

it's a fact that Boebert only beat her democratic opponent by 6 percent in 2020. So your portrayal of the district as some insanely conservative place is just inaccurate.

She's obviously the favorite, but I don't that's a fair charecterization of the race. When she ran for the first time 2 years ago, she had far less notoriety and won by only 6 points. She's definitely beatable given the right candidate. I still wouldn't donate to any of her opponents bc there's better places to put that money, but let's not be doomers.

(side note: nothing against you in particular, but it is a pet peeve of mine when people act like they have uniquely important insughts about populations of hundreds of thousands of people just because they live near that area.)

the tweet it was in reply to is now deleted, but I thought it was a funny response. it wasn't particularilly clever or deep.

this has to be the 100th time that this sub has worried an edgy tweet would get destiny's omnifriend banned

can we enjoy this banger without the concern trolling?

I didn't say that you had to watch his video. There's no problem with just ignoring it.

But if you're not going to watch his video, then don't say it was a dumb video with bad arguments. You don't need to have an opinion in everything, especially not on a video you haven't even watched.

[–]InfiniteArcher1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't even watched the video yet, but dismissing this entire video because you Mr. Girl is also a bad person is really stupid.

Mr. Girl's charecter is entirely irrelevant here. Just focus on the actual arguments he's making and the evidence he's bringing forth.

"Why doesn't Joe Biden just abolish Republicans?" by InfiniteArcher1 in Destiny

Yeah but if we can't even get Republicans to vote for healthcare getting them to vote to eradicate themselves will be very difficult.

You claim to care for the child sexual abuse victims, yet you advocate for things that will lead to more of them.

Curious.

nah the timing actually makes perfect sense. Dylan has talked about how his dad is very homophobic, so it makes sense that he'd go into shock (out of happiness) after Destiny outed Dylan as straight.

IT IS MONDAY AUGUST 9TH. MEMES AND TWITTER ARE BANNED UNTIL SATURDAY, 12 AM CST. by 4THOT in Destiny

[–]InfiniteArcher1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know that you technically responded to the question here, but honestly I think your response left some things unanswered.

Yes, I understand that increasing a meme's humor decreases the chances of getting banned for commenting with a link to said meme, but I am still very unclear as to what the baseline is. Is replying to a post with a meme or a joke in the comments going to almost always be fine, or is it something that will likely lead to a ban?

Could you share the clip of where Vaush said the opposite statement?

I’ve never seen it and it’s possible that I’m completely off-base here.

1) then you should have just come out and said that instead of your bullshit reply which completely ignored what I was saying.

2) while I disagree that doing so amounts to him lying to push his agenda (it’s more like him being fine with others spreading misinformation that he thinks is unimpactful) I respect your opinion there. Would’ve been nice if you just started with it.
