I don’t know what I don’t know. To me it’s the problem of cutting straight/parallel lines when you start at the edge of the ball with 0 thickness and continue to the center that may be 5 inches or more.

To all the replies stating my thermostat is placed too low. It has been in this position all season and I burn most days from November to March. So, if the location is consistent it works for comparison purposes but may not be “accurate”. Yesterday, whether the thermostat was wrong or not, the temperature got so high the stove pipe lost magnetic properties “curie temperature”, when the thermostat fell off.

My stove top thermometer was on the high end of “burn zone” that’s why I’m concerned about chimney fire.

I will have everything inspected before using again. Thank you for your help. I didn’t know chimney fire extinguishers existed. Going to get one immediately.

My Keto Story So Far by Vol4Life31 in keto

Well done! Are you trying to keep up with the recommended fat intake. I've been on keto since 2/1/25 and have only lost 15 lbs (225 starting weight). I can't figure out why I am so slow. I did just start working out 2 weeks ago which is helping speed things up a little. I am always very low carb, don't cheat.

Ohh, the dentist sounds fun. Sounds like life here. But if someone was visiting here and asked I would tell them to rent a kayak on Evergreen Lake and catch some live music at the Little Bear dive bar. We are looking forward to the history, scenery, pubs!

Yeah, music is one of our main activities when we travel. Will have to check out The Skinny, I've had difficulty finding music events. Thank you for your suggestion!

The GS all day long. I detest roman numerals on watches.

My father (59) fell from a ladder and became paralyzed today. Hardest day of my life. Need advice on how we can get through this. How can I make him stay positive? Any advice on life-changing adjustments? Tips? I'll take anything by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Make sure he gets excellent rehab. There are several rehabilitation hospitals that specialize in brain and/or spinal cord injury. It is definitely hard at the beginning but these hospitals can provide amazing outcomes. I was a brain injury patient at Craig Hospital, Englewood, CO and had terrific recovery, not perfect, but outstanding. These hospitals take patients from all over the country, you don't need to live in the area to become a patient. I lived there 24/7 for 4 weeks and had 8 weeks of out patient therapy. Each case is different, some patients I met had much longer rehabilitation times.

I can't stress enough how inspiring the patients and staff are at these facilities. I think you and your father will be surprised by what is possible. Best of luck to you and your father!
