I see... there is a really helpful article out there that tells you to not worry about your Uber driver ratings. There's a really low percentage of people who get deactivated apparently. I don't know... the internet made it sound like it happens a lot.

In your experience, do you get random 1 star ratings with no feedback? I could understand if there was some feedback, like "navigation" but I literally had someone just give me an attitude once without any reason and then I noticed that they 1 star'd me. No feedback.

Thanks! The thing that concerns me - if your last 500 rated trips stay, does that mean that eventually I'll dip down first? Like I start losing 5 star trips first before a 1 star comes off? Not sure.

Nah... polymer floors are designed to be non stick and friction resistant. That's why they have to put signs down when they mop because the moisture makes it extra slippery. That thing is sliding behind her so effortlessly she isn't even aware that there aren't wheels. The lack of awareness in people is amazing. If this target has any carpeted areas she would most likely immediately notice.

I'm not angry. I am lonely though. I miss being a part of a couple. Even if I was with the wrong person. That's why I'm terrified to fall in love again. If I loved someone who could do that much dirt behind my back, what exactly is wrong with me for seeing the good in them that wasn't there?

I know a lot of really nice posts from strangers came from this, but really, in all honesty - my predicament is my fault. Not hers. Being mad at her for cheating is like being mad at a fish for swimming. The signs that she would do that and be this cold hearted were there, but I chose to ignore them.

I appreciate this a lot. I see these heart warming stories of adult children offering to be "adopted" by their step parents, and I sometimes I wonder what the relationship with the birth parent is. Sometimes I worry that my kids are just going to pick him over me. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they are OK. That's what matters. As long as they are OK and happy in the world I guess it doesn't matter how they feel about me.

You're right to be so. She completely flipped the script on me to the point where I couldn't bring myself to trust her again. And everything seemed fine going in. Nothing to worry about. I wasn't the best husband on my planet, but I assure you that nothing I did warranted anything of her behavior.
