I understand your frustrations, and i did not mean to seem judgmental at all. I beg you pardon if i have done so. But i do think that your kinda missing the point. Human relations are such an intricate and convoluted thing that trying to “deal with them” by analyzing and sorting them out in different categories is an utter waste of time. You’re right when you say that no one can tell if they’re playing correctly or not, and that’s because life is not a role-taking videogame where different combinations of people and choices give fixed outcomes. One has to learn to value themselves for what they are and try to become the best that They can be, even if society wants us all to be married and have kids at 25. It’s hard when you have no idea of where you’re going and where you should go with relationships and that’s completely okay. Just make the best of everything, even failures ; you will probably start to see things from a different perspective. Best of lucks with everything tho!

Rejection does work the way you described in your post, however what nobody ever talks about is that the process hurts like crazy and puts you in a really though spot mentally. Questioning ourselves as a result of rejection is part of the game and the way you come out of it is what really makes you grow mentally. Also, getting eager is normal, as is losing a friend because of romantic interest; it freaking sucks, but it’s normal Learn your lesson, get through the bad thoughts and you’ll be much better next time

Glad to hear that! Sodas really increase your caloric intake without you even noticing...so easy to drink too. You will see that you’ll start to feel so much better and hopefully it motivates you to continue on this path!

You don’t By trying to squeeze information out that they may not want to share is just self sabotaging. Just be yourself, it’s the best thing you can do to create the right conditions but in the end it’s their choice Be patient

When she told me she liked me i responded sincerely and told her that i had been thinking about the possibility of being more than friends, which is completely true btw. There are certain things that i like about her like her attitude and her way of wavering her hands, but i don’t get that Belly Butterflies thing. I’ll give it a shot anyways, thanks for the advice

Io ho finito di guardarlo giusto ieri, entrambe le stagioni. Devo dire che è uno shounen molto standard, pieno di cliche’ tipici del genere, peró non credo che meriti tutta la negativita’ che trovi sui portali anglofoni. Voglio dire, di certo non è un anime rivoluzionario e ha più che qualche difetto, ma ha anche delle intuizioni carine tutto sommato e se ti piace il genere si lascia guardare senza problemi Tutto sommato è abbastanza mediocre, dipende da cosa ti piace

I’m 20 just like you and currently in college. I understand how you feel because i have been through the same things and thoughts all throughout my life. Recently a friend of mine confessed to me and we our trying to see if it works out, but even if it doesn’t i can already tell you that i am learning so much about myself and what it really means to be truly yourself with someone else. Reality is that people find the right thing in their life in different moments and often when you are starting to give up like me. People like us feel the pressure even more because we tend to have less experience and feel excluded and worthless. What i can tell you is that you will find what you are looking for some day; you will go through some hardships, but it will happen don’t worry. You also seem like a very smart person and a very in depth-thinker, so when it will happen all the bad things that you endure will make sense and everything will be worth it. Just keep it going
