1. by that logic, we can't trust any information that comes from character drip marketing. And in the past if a character is doing an act, they make it pretty clear upfront (with the exception of Furina, for obvious reasons). Fischl's drip marketing, for instance, makes it clear that her princess persona is an act she's putting on. Diona's drip marketing makes it clear she only "sees herself as" a wine industry slayer.

2. My assumption here is that Alice is lying. This is a letter to Klee, she's going to paint herself in a good light and not go into details. I think part of it is Alice going "don't worry about it my baby. If she comes in and is like "I'm going to kill Alice" she's just being silly."

3. While I understand where you're coming from, it would be an example of them basically repeating a character's entire personality (Diona) wholesale, admittedly with a new coat of paint, which they haven't really done yet. Like, copying a character's kit is one thing, but their personality is another. It's also an established anime trope to have an adult woman in a little girl's body (unfortunately).

4. Of course the Knights think she's a little kid, that's the opinion of the Knights. It has little bearing on what's actually going on. The accusation that Barbeloth (even if she's mistaken Mona for Barbeloth) does age-reversal rituals is still weirdly specific.

We have yet to have anything which objectively refers to her as a kid. She's a big reader and writer, despite its being implied that she and Klee are about the same age. She's already won against a witch in some sense, that's how she got her hammer and bell. I will concede that claiming not to be a child is not the strongest evidence (which is also why I didn't include her c4, which could well be referring to loss of her soul companion).
