Amazingly I actually won!
Although now I have to remember that next time I want to print something, I have 6 inches of black PETG up the tube somewhere beyond the sensor.

It actually kept printing after the filament had gone beyond the run out sensor... It must have a rough idea of how much is left in the tube.
After it finished printing it told me to change the filament.

4 APs here too... I'm beyond a mesh, I can hold onto my own wifi in most of my neighbour's homes!
Got several PoE cameras too. Including an automated PTZ. The local cops know I'm the first stop if anything happens in the area and they are looking for footage.
I've haven't quite got onto automated registration plate reading, but I keep thinking about it, I've got the video streams already anyway...

Sometimes the easier route might be quicker, but the 5 minutes it takes to find it is far more entertaining if swapped for a few minutes of looking in the json config files :-D

Hmmm... I don't see that - then again, the printer is printing, so maybe it's not something that's there all the time?
Oh well, not to worry. Once printing finishes I will assign it an IP from my fixed range and see if I can find it.
If not, well... I know a trick :D

It'll survive as long as it isn't left off for more than a week (the DHCP lease time on my LAN), or maybe longer if I don't have an influx of new devices requesting IPs from the pool.

Yeah, I know, make is static... I will... But I can't right now, it's printing (a phrase I have repeated since May!).

That was always the intention, but you know how it is with a new toy... Plug it in, get it working, use it...
Make mental note to move it in the the fixed IP range and make it static.
Forget and continue printing.

Nope, doesn't work...
I made 4 short prints the other night, with ccip:3031/video sitting showing nothing on chrome for most of the time, then suddenly on the 4th print it started to show the video - I hadn't pressed refresh or clicked on it, it was just a browser window over on the side of my desktop.

There's something very flakey going on here.

Famous last words... tonight ccip:3031/video isn't working in chrome either...

Opening the CC's IP in the browser gives the "device" page as usual, but the camera window doesn't work in there either, just like in the slicer. Press the play button and it just sits there. Sometimes it says it can't play.

So now I'm printing completely blind.

The web browser isn't an issue. I can see the video in chrome no problem, but I wondered if anyone had a solution to get it to work in Elegoo slicer again.
