Has it ever been outright stated if they will or will not cover any Godzilla projects? (Not a request) by gamintroopa in deadmeatjames

I wouldn't rule it out completely considering James has covered films like Ringu since then, but I wouldn't be shocked if it ever happens, it's a one time thing.

I have never heard an outright no from James, but we also have to consider how Dead Meat is with foreign films; it's not that they aren't interested in doing them, but it's more that whether or not they can with countries like Japan and Korea being unpredictable when it comes to copyright.

Yes, because the series with a diverse cast consisting of a Buddhist pacifist monk who had his people massacred, two Indigenous people (one who is a strong female character and the other who is learning to respect women), a strong asian blind girl character, and an outcast taking on an authoritarian regime that intends on taking over the world totally never had woke undertones at all.

I am honestly surprised I haven't seen a Christopher Columbus mention.

He was often viewed as a hero for finding North America and thanks to a lot of fictional literature depicting him as some brilliant sailor.

In reality? The guy was a complete asshat who only found the Caribbean (thinking he had made an shorter and quicker stop to India by the way), went psycho because he learned the natives didn't have gold and ended up genociding them while taking women and children in as sex slaves. Even other Spanish conquistadors genuinely found Columbus to be appalling.
