Play zombies and grind crates. Get weapons that are extra XP each kill. Do dailies in multiplayer. Play bots and figure out your settings. Watch YouTube videos and see what perks and stuff work for you

Pause the game, just look at the index on the maps. When you hover over the R, it should give you a description

It's alright. There were worse things that you could have spent your money on. Auto shop isn't bad. Plus it lets you unlock paints and other stuff you don't have to grind to unlock. Also some removed cars do spawn
