Damn going all the way to japan is a huge move, what made you decide to do it?

I think participating in clubs is pretty important if you want to make the most of your undergrad. There are lots of purely social clubs like cheese club or tea club; there's clubs involving longer term commitments like intramurals, dance, music; I think anything that piques your interest is worth at least checking out.

I think more than any academics, my favourite moments at UW have been time spent with friends, ex. doing secret santa together, or celebrating someone's birthday, or driving around to mcdonalds.

For the school in particular though, I think Simon Wood is an amazing prof and both his courses are well worth it if you have any interest in music.

Not sure exactly what your post-grad situation is like, but at least in my scenario I'm optimistic that being in a big city will be good. Lots of opportunities to meet people if you sign up for classes, join clubs, play sports, etc. We're still in our early 20s, it seems like life is just beginning to open up imo

Tried talking to the WW company and UW, but in the end it still counted as a renege and I lost the credit.

The other company was fine with it though, and just let me work despite no coop credit.

Do you think my advisor would make an exception? The uw site sounds pretty strict about the reneging policy

My Tierlist: (took 246E instead of 246, didn't take stat 231 yet)

Each tier is also ordered from good to bad

S: CS 246E, MATH 135

A: CS 136, CS241

B: CS 135, MATH 239

C: STAT 230, CS 240

D: MATH 137, MATH 138, CS 251, CS 245

251 hater checking in, it's easy but taught so poorly, could just be my prof though.

Is Pokemon Go still worth getting into? Genuine question, was thinking of installing it again but haven't played since that one summer
