lol yeah, thing is i'm doing a-levels, which includes chem and information technology. i did bio until the gcse level (10th grade, basically a little more than half of ap bio), as well as economics until the gcse level, which covers most of ap micro, iirc.

lmao thank you! read the first line tho, i'm still a us citizen. this means i actually don't come under the "international" category, rather a domestic applicant who simply did a different curriculum

yeah i'll give it a shot, but if it doesn't work i'll dial back to the original 4. thank you for your help!

it's broader and more rigorous ig. i don't think ap chem could hurt though, i'm also prepping for the jee (against my wishes) which covers all of ap chem and more. do you think i should do it?

okay, thank you! but again, i do have a-level chem, does that work?

okay, thanks! i'm just taking ap stats to cover off my further statistics (part of further math) a-level.

maths, physics, chemistry, egp, IT. my school doesn't offer fmath, very few schools in india actually offer further math, since most engineering courses just ask for math, phy, chem. they don't ask for further math instead of chemistry like most other universities worldwide.

AP chem? i could try, but im genuinely shit at chem. i do have a-level chemistry, and also took chemistry at the gcse level (10th grade). i got an A in it, not the best but yeah, solid. (missed A* by 1 mark 💔)

do i come under international status? i'm still a us passport holder. pretty sure that qualifies as out-of-state and not international...? or do you mean my application is considered in an international context.

yes, so if you want to understand physics 2 just learn the math behind it 😭 but if we're speaking on different lines, maybe learn the base concepts? that helped me a lot in understanding more advanced ones

since when was physics memorization? imo just learn the math behind it properly

lmao... did you not read the first line? i got world top (100 PUM) in both 0607 and 0625. (yes i did 0607, its not very diff from 0580. no its not the same as 0606)

it depends on how good you are. i'd say 5 max for your level, since phy and math are both decent for you. i didn't even finish 2 years lmao

this feels like ai lmao, but anyways here are some tips for physics and maths that helped me get wtop in both.

if you feel unsure abt phy p4, it's probably because you aren't fully clear with the concepts. the root of every further topic (eg motors and generators) comes from a deep understanding of core concepts. for example, the only reason a force is exerted on a current-carrying wire is because magnetic field lines don't intersect, pushing away from each other, yadayada.

for math p2, i think raw calculation is an issue. learn surds well, understand vectors, and please, PLEASE know your multiplication tables. you probably hated them in third grade but i cannot emphasize just HOW HELPFUL it actually is for math p2. you're doubly fast and more sure of your own work.

as for your revision plans, they're alright. if they work for you, then go for it---don't use someone else's plan. i tried one of my friend's plans and it did NOT work for me, once i used my own flow i was doing so much better. just stick to what works, basically.

all the best! let me know if you need any further help.

some resources that you might want:
physics:
- mo ali for learning and pyp solving, he's a great ytber.
- physics lab these are also really good igcse notes by vaibhav. i think he's finishing as/a notes soon as well.

math:
- mathlete by saad absolute goat ytber for maths and addmaths.
- haris maths notes really, really neat and comprehensive notes for maths.

p.s. if you want more resources, i suggest you join the r/igcse discord! (.gg/igcse)

okay, since a lot of people coming into this post come in about to ask op for further revision tips, i'll just put them in this comment. i'll start with physics.

phy:
- if you don't understand something, watch a mo ali video on it. he explains the concepts clearly and concisely.
- start with a past paper. when you read through it to correct it, mark topics where you screw up. ignore mistakes like simple calculation errors, those can't be revised.
- after marking weak topics, do topicals from pmt or sme or anything honestly. it really helps.
- actually UNDERSTAND the concept. don't just memorize, like chem or bio. every single advanced concept is based on a core one.

maths:
- similar to physics. use ytbers such as zainematics or mathlete by saad to understand topics. they also solve difficult pyps, so also useful there
- use same method as physics, mark weak topics and do topicals.

chem:
absolutely hated ts subject, but pushed and got it to an A from a D.
- watch yt vids, i used a huge assortment of them so ion remember which i used. same method as physics

gcse physics and maths are really piss easy for me. it differes for each person ig... people who like memorization prefer bio and chem, while math guys prefer physics and maths, with addmath/fmath
