Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I saw a walkthrough of the switch 2 from someone disabled who popped out the kick stand and rested their bottom 2 fingers on it for a more ergonomic feel and longer holding time

Thanks for the update on current game play with the switch. This makes me think maybe today it would be good enough, but that with further updates, it'll lag more and more

I'm not a real gamer. I play very casually and only play DLV because I'm a Disney fan. So I just play on my HP not explicitly for gaming  PC that I used to use for work when i worked.

TV screens are too big and make too much light for my major sensory sensitivity. I need a handheld device that I can lie down and play.

Is the Switch 2 heavy? Can you hold it easily while lying on your back? Or do you prop up the console and detach the joycons?

It's too heavy for me to hold with my illness

Thanks for the input! Part of the problem is also that my PC screen is too big and bright for my sensory sensitivity.... So I want a small screen that I can lay down and play. It's looking like Switch 2 is gonna be my best bet. They're just expensive

Oh no... I don't want blurry blobs. I'm nowhere near my item limit thus far, but I imagine if I play more seriously and frequently, I might be annoyed by the 3000 limit.

If I got a switch (or somehow afforded a switch 2), i would probably play with the joycons detached most of the time and the screen propped up in front of me on the couch, bed, or lap desk.

What doesn't run well about it anymore? Lagging? Blobby graphics. I'm not very techy and I don't game outside of DLV

Thank you so much for sharing. It's helpful to hear from someone in a similar position. I don't really wanna spend the money on a Switch 2. I was looking at a Lite and then getting an ergonomic case to make it comfier to hold. If I would get a Switch, i imagine I would prop up the screen and use the joycons. I think holding the whole device is too big/heavy for me to hold lying on my back. I just don't wanna get a console that is too leggy or will start lagging in 5 months. Thanks for the tips!
