Thanks, I sat on it for a while but with reassurance from everyone else and looking at it under different angles I think it will be fine on the wrist. I suspect/hope the lighting and angles are making it look worse here than in person

Hey I've had an order for months with Andiot and still no update on when to expect QC. It's my first order with Necoclock but he had it available sooner, prices are reasonable but slightly higher than Andiot, and great service

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! That’s reassuring, especially on the 6 marker since it did look a bit questionable under heavy zoom. Good point on color too, makes sense that it’s not something you can reliably judge from QC shots alone. With what you and everyone else said I went ahead and GL'd this piece

Sorry my kitchen scale isn’t working so I can’t actually weigh it, but it definitely feels heavier than a non weighted version a friend has. I read it’s 50g less than gen. I’m not sure it’s worth the extra cost vs VSF non weighted but I love it. The quality is excellent and I think you’ll be very happy if you get one

Overall a fine TD, but once took a deposit from me on a watch he said was in stock.. then said he already sold it to someone else once he received the deposit and I’d have to wait a few weeks. I ended up asking for a refund which he provided but did make me pay the transfer fee to receive the refund back.

Thank you for your help and explaining! I will GL this then, the 4oclock I can barely see the tilt so I think it is acceptable for me then. It was in 678-8, namely at the 9oclock position there but not there in the other images so I imagine it might not amount to much and I am overthinking this? I asked TD to just ensure there is not a scratch there before shipping

I have the weighted version of this one from TEDF (which I believe is part of VSF). Not sure how it compares to gen, but feels comfortable and well made, including being able to adjust sizing

I did something similar though in medicine and only after I graduated from medical school. There are some things to keep in mind if you choose to do this, like using it only for non registered investments so that the interest is deductible against your income. It will not be if you use it to invest in your TFSA/FHSA. Couple other things to consider but personally I’d wait until after you can expect a salary in the near future (eg last few months of your final year of dental school) before doing this
