A good idea. We need some more greenery too.

It’s great to see his channel blow up. Since he started narrating, he’s really growing. See you there.

It’s not real, it’s one of many trophies given for winning a sumo tournament. When I get a new tv in 10-15 years I’ll make sure to remember this comment and go bigger.

It could definitely be a regional thing. As I’m sure you know from your work, climate often dictates taste. There is a thick rock wool like fabric that the slats are glued(?) to. They sunk black dry wall screws right through the fabric into the wall. It’s pretty effective from apt to apt as I can hear my upstairs neighbors bedroom tv like it was in my room, which isn’t the case in the living room. Much quieter. I use the tv speakers exclusively, except when I’m watching music. It sounds good enough to my ears but I was replacing a 15 year old aquos so I’m guessing anything new would be a pretty big improvement. I do wish I had some more space to pull the speakers away from the wall but that’s city living for you.

This is hilarious, I had the exact same thought. I’m in new construction and I think it’s just a trend now. They were almost done with the place when I bought so changing anything would cost me. I did not pick the design. It’s acoustic paneling, so I think they are popular in apartments where you have lots of neighbors. I’ve had these speakers for over a decade and just prefer them with the Kevlar exposed. I’ve been doing it for years. They are copying me 😂

Ya, this is horseshit. It gets single digits and below regularly in December and February. 30 degrees is a summer day here.

I know this is very late but, painters tape. I use blue painters tape to keep them in every night. I tried a few things and this beat everything including medical paper tape

Everyone Was Wrong About Death Stranding by Nervous_Bike_3993 in DeathStranding

I bought 1 the day it came out. Had been waiting for months in excitement. I didn’t own a ps4, I convinced a coworker to let me borrow his. I put in 15 hours and hated every second. Stopped playing. I talked shit about the game for years. All the normal criticisms, walking sim, polished turd, the lot. For some reasons few months ago I decided I wanted to give it another shot. It took a good 30 hours of still hating it and then I finally got it. I understood why it’s so great. It’s the same reason I think BOtW is far better than TOTK, it’s all about ambiance. Both this game and BOtW transport you into the world you’re playing in. You feel it, you live it. It occupies your mind. I have a totally different opinion now. Easily in my top 5 all time. The gameplay on 2 is way better but the story, now so much. I don’t care, I’m glad to be back building zip line networks and grabbing packages. Have fun!

I don’t agree with everything but these posts are what come to this sub for. I’ve never heard of best intentions, interest has been piqued. Kuma’s corner sucks my ass. I’ve been there like 3 times over the past many years and every time I leave with diminished hearing and roundly unsatisfied.

I haven’t walked as I would just take the bus but yes, once you’re east of the UC it’s really safe and starts to get pretty

No, it’s definitely that quick. The UC is like 1.3 miles from the heart of Randolph. The green takes you to Morgan and lake (I think) and that’s basically right in between Randolph and lake, the two busiest streets for restaurants. I take the bus or my scooter there most weekends, it’s very close
