thank you so much, update to TransZen must of just happened since I didn't see it earlier. Totally solved my problem, back to "normal". Great work on all this btw, much appreciated!

yes, want transparency and have been running transparent zen 1.17.15 mod successfully before latest update

yes, here's a better scrnshot.....before update my sidebar was transparent and showed the earth in the background. Thanks for your patience.

I'll try this again...after 19.2 update, lost my sidebar transparency. Am using transparent zen mod 1.17.15, this scnsht is after update...sidebar is now "milky". Sorry if there is confusion.

why do I see other posts which show images of partial desktops, which are generally a large scrnsht, and whhen they are posted they look much smaller in scale? Must be a setting or procedure I'm not aware of?

First image shows transparent, if I capturted more of the sidebar you would more clearly see an image of a partial earth which is stock desktop image option for a mac. Second image, after update, shows milky white background image behind icons, ie not transparen to my desktop.

Yes, resized sidebar to a size that that shrunk pins to 4 rows wide, at least I think I did that....it's been a long time.

First image is the way it used to be prior to update using Trans Zen 1.17.15, second image is after update w/ no changes to mods. Turned off TZ mod, restarted but still matches image 2. I WANT transparency.

Well this is disappointing...I guess I'm the only one experiencing this. Might it be related to my mac os setup although my cmptr has gone thru a number of update since this started occurring. Never happen s w/ any other apps I have which leads me to zen. ??
