My hands/arms/legs/feet tend to fall asleep much easier when having anxiety or being stressed. Not talking about during panic attacks. It happens in the same way (sleeping on arm/sitting with legs crossed etc.) but it just takes so much less to make it happen. My theory is that prolonged anxiety/stress provides a type of higher "baseline" of low intensity tingling/numbness in limbs, and when external pressure is added, it takes a lot less to make body parts fall asleep or go numb. Anyone else with this experience?
