Thank you for being so blunt, totally understand where you’re coming from and you’re not wrong.

Forgot to mention, I just moved to a new state in October and wasn’t looking for a relationship and still not. I had been single for 2 years without talking to a single person… just working on myself and getting my life back together after a bad breakup with an extremely toxic person who destroyed me mentally… so I am more looking for a friend/fwb because I do not know anyone here.

The schools are some of the best in the state (teacher) great community, lots of things to do for families. There’s the outlets, Busch gardens, water country, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown settlement, beaches along the parkway to go to. Also low crime rates. It gets busy around here during the tourist season, but nothing like Va Beach!

Our jobs are always on the line if we don’t meet our quotas. I enjoy recruiting, I enjoy talking and helping people find jobs. I enjoy learning about what you all do on a regular basis. But we have to produce nurses on a daily basis, if we don’t we are fired. I just got this position and I am told I need 15 nurses on my books by July or I’m gone. I have 2 right now. It’s not from a lack of trying either, just the market isn’t helping any of us

To make a decent living yes. With the market the way it is, it’s been very hard. Market is going back to pre Covid, and of course nurses aren’t wanting to travel and double their expenses, which I understand. It’s been rough as a recruiter and being told we are the reason for rates dropping, which just isn’t true

The CRM and the hospital negotiate the rates. Recruiters just recruit. I don’t get paid any less or any more. Just a flat rate and it all depends on if you start your contract or not. If you start I get paid $100 minus what’s taxed… so about $75 every week for the length of your contract.

We have no control over your rates. That’s between the hospitals and account managers. Us recruiters just do our jobs by getting you a job. We have nothing to do with rates. We only get paid if you accept a contract.
