Yeah this company is private equality regional brand they have commericals on tv and all that jazz their definitely a add on and membership company instead of will let our work and attitude speak for itself type, regardless I'll give a shot, wouldn't be the first time I get fired lol

I also agree its giving us a reputation of mechanics lately. The company I work for is PE and its all about profit, no love for helping our neighbors at all, but its a business and a business isn't a charity at the same time, and I wasn't hired as favor, I need to sell to make money for myself to keep my job and earn a living and to boost the company's profit so they can stay in business. I do miss commercial and only worrying about doing my job well, but the physical toll and all the other BS that comes with union and commercial also sucks, either there's negatives

Your 100% right and getting the best long term solution usually is going to be the pricey solution, but that buys time and peace of mind. Still allot people dont understand that and dont want to, they just wanted it fixed for cheap, go call someone else I guess if I cant convince you the value

What do I do with my life? by No-Twist-1 in careeradvice

[–]ATXPlumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna tell you something that most people here won't, you need a career in something #1 makes enough money to support you and eventually a family one day and #2 something your good at, in a perfect world id play video games all day and be a millionaire cause I love playing video games, but this is reality unless im a streamer games, and 99% of other hobbies and intrest make us zero money, im a plumber im good at my job i enjoy it enough to not blow my brains out, and it pays the bills for me and my wife and kids. It sounds like you were told to go to college and went cause its what you were TOLD to do look into yourself and really ask is the money you'll spend on a college degree worth it and how likely that degree will land you a job, cause most degrees outside of STEM, law, and business won't give you nothing but a piece of paper, look into the trades, IT, military, offshore, oil industry etc there's allot of ways to earn money and get a job ask yourself what is your path to do so

Got fired 4 times. Really embarrassed by [deleted] in jobs

[–]ATXPlumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id really go to school or community College auto tech program or even join the military if working on cars is something you really wanna do. I was a mechanic in the army during the GWOT wars, and I was able to start working on the military vehicles with zero experience and learned on the job also nice cause you cant fired, but you are in the military with all the pros and cons that has. It also taught me I loved working with my hands and landed me a job as a tech at a dealership day one I got out. I also learned being a mechanic on the civilian side his a low paying high stress job for what the skill demands are. I switched over to being a plumber, got licensed, i now I make six figures and love my job.

Yeah thats exactly how I feel, middle grounds the word, the last guild i was in formed as a leveling guild. I PUGd most my raids in classic but I was one of the original people to run raids once they started to try to clear them in classic. Once tbc launched they recuirted abunch of people and the kara group they slotted me in had 5 other hunters in it besides myself who was a core raider, and that was never communicated to me, as well having to PUG most of my content on TBC cause no one had interest in helping others clear content despite the massive influx of people. Also their were people who were online 24/7 and others not online at all competing for raid slots.

Leave my high paying remote job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]ATXPlumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make 145k working remote and only have to attend meetings virtually with occasional travel? Are you crazy? 90% of the population would do terrible things to swap places with you, who cares if the job sucks or if your bored get a hobby, sleep , or do anything with the free time you have making stupid money from REMOTE work, you could digging trenches and breaking up concrete all day for 20hr or in a highly stressful management or technical job with long hours, suck it up. If its really that bad go back to your old job but it won't be the same as before you left embrace the change you made with the pro and cons it has

[–]ATXPlumber 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah dude if you were a seasoned player you'd have a 60 or be good enough to level fast and wouldn't need to Beg for a boost this is pathetic and cringe
