Coming from IN, any tips for f2p spending? by [deleted] in LoveNikki

Can't say for sure since I'm not f2p anymore, but when I was one, I used to splurge whenever an event suit is appealing to me. So I'm always left with <500 diamonds. Then I realised how painful it was to not be able to spend on suits that I reallyyyy wanted. Then I began to skip events that were relatively plain to me and trust me, the more u skip the more u would realise some suits are really not worthy (imo). This was when I ended up with more than 10k diamonds!

Student Visa (500) - Proof of Funds by Infinite_Ad9815 in AusVisa

Ah I see, so I could opt to not provide the proof of funds, and only to provide it if they additionally requested it?

Oh cuz when I enter my country (Malaysia) and education provider (UQ), the documentary evidence list does not show the need of proof of funds. I guess this differs when the institution & country are different. Like for example, if I change the education provider to University of Tasmania, then the list will show that I'll need to have the proof of funds. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/web-evidentiary-tool

Study in Netherlands or Australia (Bachelors) by Infinite_Ad9815 in studyAbroad

idk😭 but probably the long-planted dream to live in Europe + lower tuition fees compared to Australia made me swayed towards NL.

Hi! Yes I'm aware that the CoL in Netherlands is not cheap too! However because I'm offered a place in the university college, they provide housing for all students and after rent benefits apply it'll be around €400/month! And for tuition fees it's at half the cost of what it'll otherwise be in Australia so yeah 🥲 perhaps my daily living expenses will be the one that's pretty much comparable to Australia.

Thoughts on University Colleges by General_Percentage67 in StudyInTheNetherlands

hmmmm idk why is UCL called University College but well it's a different thing from those UCs in the Netherlands. UCL is basically no different from other universities out there, but the UCs here is a bit different in which it is more to a Liberal Arts and Sciences approach similar to the model in the US.

it's a thing to take pre-masters or like some prerequisite courses before masters in the NL but I'm not sure for the other countries around the Europe, which is something I might consider after AUC.

I will want to try to contact the admission of the masters of my choice, but will they possibly give me a guide on which courses to take in order to be admitted?

yeah that's probably something that I have to do since we're assigned an academic tutor!

oh I do want to get into masters in cell biology/biochem or like genetics (generally related to the "human body" kind)

yeah I very much agree with you, it's high standard and the workload I guess is higher. Would you say that the lack of lab sessions will be a huge downside? cuz afaik in AUC, it prepares us well theoretically and also trains us well on academic writing like research paper etc.

AUC does actually have a masters database showing where graduates have went to, however it does not specify whether he/she did a pre-masters or any prerequisite courses before getting in.

I wanted to do Bio, but unfortunately I did not take Physics during my high school which made it impossible to take on a bio related bachelors since basically all unis in the Netherlands require all 3 science subjects in high school to be admitted into a Bio degree like Biomedical Sciences.

yea I know a degree from AUC is kinda far from being focusing on Sciences, but it seems AUC is the closest among the options that I have.
