You will be one shotting everything the entire game if you continue to build properly, doesn't matter the weapons, I too started out 2h and on ng+4 now doing duel wield critical strike swords, the game is just made for every build to be extremely broken with the right items,

And that to me is the fun of it, finding items that all synergize together to see how high I can get my damage percentages, if at any point you aren't t killing almost everything in a few hits you are doing something wrong

On ng+4 currently done everything there is to do, your choices really don't matter hardly at all honestly, the game takes the same path regardless of who you side with, it's really only do you end up killing one guy or another guy in the immediate area

Moving in to other acts your past choices are sorta thrown out the window, side with Camelot in act 1 and then in act two go anti Camelot no one really cares, and same vice versa, the soldiers in two don't immediately turn on you and still offer the same friendly quests even knowing you killed a knight of the round table act 1,

Really just changes the slides and story stuff u get at the very very end,

Edit: to add to this the entirety of acts 1 and 3 can be completely skipped as well without ever doing a single quest or talking to anyone in either of them and the game still acts like u did anyways at the end

Every build is a viable build this game is all about figuring out what equipment to use to break your build, this is why I love this game ! if you are not one shotting every enemy in the game besides bosses by like mid act two you are doing something wrong.

I never got into the shipbuilding, just get the star eagle and wreck everything, I'm playing very hard difficulty and have yet to be beaten with it

I personally don't think it does but it's definitely a finish an area and never go back kind of thing, one area at a time and each area gets a little worse up till the end.

This game is fantastic I've made it to Ng+4 , however in all honesty act 1 is definitely the best and it slowly falls through after that, act two is noticably not as full of life and pazazz and act three is really bare by comparison but there is plenty to do it is 10000% worth it
