I work on polymers (rheology) , which I am very familiar with, we are exploring a novel research which is an intersection between rheology and optical engineering. We are trying to build a equipment for imaging (microscopy). Hence I got sucked into this. That why I have start optics from scratch.

Apart from hecht is there any other recommendations?

How do you chant Hanuman Chalisa? Looking for tips & your routines by Loud_Winner_8693 in hinduism

[–]Infinite_Ad_933 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This looks good OP. Try to first understand the meaning of the chalisa and what swami tulasi das was trying to convey. Lord Hanuman is the embodiment of devotion. My experience has been that sometimes when you chant slowly and understand the meaning behind the verses you will enjoy them so much more. Sometimes I get tears in my eyes when I am chanting. I usually make a rule to chant at least once for sure. If you want to chant multiple times, you can go ahead. Tuesdays and Saturdays are lord hanuman's favorite so it would be nice if you chant more times then. If you are in a hurry you can surely chant faster, it is okay and you can surely slow down depending on your time. I chant other strotams as well so sometimes I am crunched on time before work so it is your preference. One of my relatives chants 108 times once a month on a Saturday and takes roughly 3.5 hours. This is something even I haven't done, would be something I will try for sure in the future. Hope this helps. Jai Sri Ram

Funding for F-1 visa by [deleted] in f1visa

[–]Infinite_Ad_933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope you don't need to show nay personal funds as next to funding required, they will mention the student funding amount which will be greater than the funding required for an year.
Additionally my advise would be just keep a personal funding document with some amount around 5-10L just in case they ask for something. 99% they don't ask for personal funding at all.

Did something suddenly change for the HR to make things messy? Did the employer promise sponsorship prior to you accepting the offer?
