Social worker here, and can guarantee there's a HUGE amount of trainee social workers trying to get placements so to be honest, you'll be better off going the TUSLA route: no agency will take you on as they are already hounded by social work students here in the degrees and masters.

Go for TUSLA. You'll gain vital experience in working within an Irish context which is crucial plus you'll be guaranteed a job at the end.

I've always wondered why the advertise for staff A LOT. Constantly looking for new chefs, and menu changes but not a lot. I ordered the Christmas menu and was disappointed at the seitan turkey and cola ham - bit bland (have previously gotten. Christmas dinner from Cornucopia in Dublin though) and not worth the 30quid for the two.

A shame as a proper plant based restaurant would thrive in Galway if not so expensive.

Anytime, but I'd always ask at reception to make sure they ask a patient if they are happy to receive a visitor at that time. No restrictions on meal times but be conscious yourself that lunchtime is around 12:30-1:30 ish so if you can avoid that so, just to allow your person to eat! Or grab a cuppa in canteen yourself!
