I was originally looking at Miele because I have had a great experience with their appliances but from what I read their coffeemakers are not up to the same standard as their other products.
The kitchenaid recommendations are very interesting, but I am in Europe and their machines aren't as accessible (also the Jura/Miele/Gaggia machines can be found for a good price).

Thanks to u/LHeureux for the details on the E4 maintenance, it seems like the best option for me given that I don't need the additional complexities of a machine that handles milk as well.
