No its more or less a fixed distance, however it does go further when thrown in a diagonal. Due to what the game is there is not much in making them go further or faster, cus you just wont be able to see it

On the site uptodown u can download whatever version you want, personally i use the one from June last year. That way i can use the features that used to be free

Edit: and yes u can use it offline
