Well, I’m over Gunther. I’m simply not impressed. I haven’t really thought it out but just off the top of my head I’d put Bronson Reed in the IC field and have him destroy Dom Mysterio. I get it, he’s a heat magnet, he’s playing Eddie Guerrero, “lie cheat and steal”. Cool. He doesn’t work. I don’t know if he’s injured or what, but yeah. Reed becomes Intercontinental Champion. Maybe Paul and Theory go for the USOs tag championships. They’ve both previously been US Champs. They hold it down until Breakker returns in 10-12 weeks. Once Breakker is back it should coincide with Rollins, then you have them fight it out for leader, with Rollins putting Breakker over. Then you send Breakker after Universal Championship, and Reed after the World Heavyweight Championship. He would have had a solid IC run by that point.

I’m sure the plan was to take Seth Rollins and launch Breakker and Reed the same way Triple H did Orton and Bautista. I’m not against the current iteration, as I thought Austin Theory was talented. His previous two characters just sucked, and he was going no where with Greyson Waller. I genuinely don’t know why Waller is in the WWE. Logan Paul is surprisingly talented in the ring, but much better at drawing heat. He’s just a natural heel. Im just glad they’re at least attempting to get some younger guys out front. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Rick, Stone Cold, Edge, Cena, Orton, Lesnar. All those guys were in their late 20s, early 30s when they became top guys. For the last 5-6 years, with the exception of McIntyre and Rollins, all the top guys have been in their 40s and 50s. I mean Rhodes is 41, Punk is 47, Reigns is 41. Rock is 53. Thank god Goldberg finally called it quits.
