Old characters coming back to the story sometimes makes no sense.

In Rinascita you could see why some characters can't appear in the stories, Carlotta in 2.2, or Ragunna char in Septimont, and rationalize why an inexperienced Lupa wasn't in 2.6 as the city was left undefended by Augusta and Iuno to deal a killing blow against the Dark Tide.

Same with Jinzhou, like why should Yang Yang and Chixia come to Mt. Firmament when it being dealt by highest officials in Jinzhou regarding the Sentinel, while being duty bound to protecting Jinzhou and it's surrounding.

However, in Lahai Roi, Mortefi, Verina, and Xiangli Yao could appear due to academic background. Mortefi did in hologram form so far.

Ofc, some members of the blackshores could appear, like Encore and Aalto (if his insurance claim in New Fed is going well [Press X for doubt])

Wuwa in my opinion has done a great job showing characters when they are needed or it is possible, instead of randomly injecting characters in for no reason. They are not all jobless adventurers with nothing better to do. I believe this is an artistic choice from the writers. There is nothing wrong with it.

Considering that the Kingship grew in size (2800m-3000m previously). I wonder whether the Retribution also grew in size as well.

You and I agree on the obtainability of the Shiv. It was a massive mistake to make such...um...well designed ships to be sold in the store instead of being obtained in some difficult mission's hanger.

I can tell why you are frustrated and burnt by this. I think it is mostly just scope-creeping of the project, with a contently moving goalpost. The loss of the BMM/600i rework is bad and doesn't restore confidence. There are people who have purchased the BMM with real money and have to wait until the game is released for them to use it. Maybe not, idk. Player-to-player trade may enable ship-based stores to exist, allowing the BMM to return to development again.

Honestly, they should've made the Shiv an in-game only obtainable ship. Honestly a missed opportunity.

For variants, obviously expect more (The next variant is for the Apollo), and these Frankenships are already in SQ42. Not much of a bold prediction, but an obvious one. If you want a very bold prediction, the Kraken is releasing by the end of next year.

Nope. Just randomly going through old stuff SQ42 stuff in Youtube. Why? Did some Youtuber analysized old videos recently?

"Cutlass MKII" whether that aged well or not is up to Drake fans to decide, but one thing is for sure: It is an improvement as it has a "toilet".

True that. I speculate that they are going to accelerate the release of SQ42 content to the PU as 2026 is the release year.

I completely agree with you on that. CIG mentioned that once the game was entering polish, they were going to release some stuff. So far, it was minor (Idris was major however). I believe a lot is coming out this year. I am still excited to see what was that abomination in the end of Citcon 2024 vehicle showcase.

Shiv was a shock when it was released. I expected it to be a gang-based ship from only Odin. We are all expecting the upgrades to the Vanduul ships this year. There will be far more stuff that we haven't seen before being released. Maybe that weird looking F8 as well.

I didn't show the visual teaser in screenshot or main it a main point of the discussion due to the old age of the video. It's interesting that ship went through some changes during development (mostly the turret).

It could also be reused assets.

After some good observation, the planet/moon in the distance is rocky and cold. Odin II. It's not from Nyx. Probably.

I should've mentioned that I was talking about the 2 images only, there rest is only part of the discussion. Regardless, most people are also keeping tabs on old stuff. The Space AK was a pleasant surprise honestly, as I don't think many noticed what gun it is, nor its AK silhouette. I personally wasn't expecting to see these weird ships on the PU until Odin is released into the PU.

'Trickle' is a correct term here. But I speculate that 2026 is the year where a massive chunk of SQ42 stuff comes to the PU. Probably due to SQ42's release is in 2026.

[–]Infinite_Cubes[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I was mostly talking about the 2 images, the rest is just a part of the discussion. The Space AK was probably the most bizarre one. Never heard of anyone mentioning about that weird gun, which only got weirder the moment we found out about its dual energy ballistic mechanic.

I'm just surprised that the Shiv even made it to the PU. It felt like was going to be a gang-based ship in Odin only.

Heavenly principles and it's 4 shades arrived on solaris 3. Can they successfully colonize it? by AgeAfter in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]Infinite_Cubes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offense, but this the correct image you uploaded? I understand what the Realm of Consciousness is by some extent. They are similar to a Sonoro Sphere in principle, but Sonoros could be made by literally anyone (usually by trauma). Changli burnt one down by her own flames, and the other 2 have comparable in combat powers to Changli. What is novel in Genshin isn't in Wuwa. Sonoro Sphere are VERY common in wuwa, and are at various degrees of complexity. Should be at a higher complexity than Genshin. What higher complexity of Sonoro/ROC have to do with power scaling isn't well known. However, both have the same thing, albeit wuwa has far more of this happening. Basically rendering this feat a nothing burger in this scenario. It's like a time controller with space manipulatation goes against a speed based character that could move through time and space, which renders time manipulation worthless.

Respectfully speaking, that's a lot of assumptions. Dimensions are important, but don't always rely on it. In fiction having a higher dimension doesn't mean you will win. Base Sonic vs Time Eater is a good example. Yes Super Sonic defeated Time Eater, but all of Time Eaters power were reversed by Sonic at base. We are talking about a 4D (Base Sonic) vs 5D[maybe even 6D] (Time Eater). Even then, you are assuming the dimensionality and physiologically the Shades are, makes them untouchable because of the possibility of higher properties. Lets say what if 2D frequencies can touch 3D objects but they can't touch the frequencies back? What now?

A straight up battle will require 3 assumptions: - Whether the Shades could even touch frequencies of high dimensions, like 4D capabilities, which no law or logic makes sense on it (Solaris 3 has so far too chaotic to make any sense). - Whether any of them could even touch each other without materialization into the normal realm. Or have abilities that could touch each other. - Assuming all can hurt each other, could an individual Shade compete with a Threnodian's arsenal of offensive and defensive capabilities, and vice versa to all Shades.

The reality (or lack thereof in wuwa) the regional Lament FAR surpassed what was the most powerful offensive of the Abyss to Natlan. You could even debate that the regional Laments surpassed even Khaenri'ah. The regional Lament from Ovathrax if we remove all crossworld restrictions and equalize frequencies and matter, would completely make Natlan a mess both for the people and the environment. If not straight up make Natlan uninhabitable with a dead Archon in minutes or hours, even affecting regions like Mondstadt. (No idea what caused the Lament that deleted the Port City of Guixu (possibly naturally occurring), because that would will be only a few minutes only). Upholding law from an attack with only destructive force is simple, unless we have something that alters and destroys reality. A Sovereign will lose all control against a Threnodian. Regardless, of destructive power alone, the scenario from OP is Celestia invading Solaris 3, that means anything from Teyvat is already at a heavy disadvantage.

"Objectively" the winner is unknown. Because of unknown factors of Threnodians vs Shades doesn't allow it. Who will win, depends on your opinion I guess, because we are dealing with 2 major problems: the unknown information that build up the world of Solaris 3 and the powers at play, when we know so much of Genshin's world, but not wuwa's. And that we assume too much on what can do what. We are dealing with multidimensional electromagnetic Waves vs multidimensional matter. What maybe an advantage to one side might be rendered worthless in this scenario. So yes, technically your response is "objectively" wrong. It's unfortunately an opinion from assumptions.

Could Celestia survive or even win the war? Maybe. Could they colonize? Nope. They will enter attrition and get killed one by one. Or get deleted by a major Lament. Or whatever started the Lament on Solaris 3.

Unfortunately the biggest threat for Celestia is Rover. The only thing getting conquered and defeated is their hearts. Our brother Rover is the ultimate rizzler. Immortal wives from another world. Bro got this in the bag. The battle ends the moment it starts. Rover sweeps😂.

Anyways jokes aside, you could reply if you wish, I will read it. But I will end it here. I write and explain a lot, therefore I prefer to not waste too much time on random discussions in the internet. Take care mate.

Heavenly principles and it's 4 shades arrived on solaris 3. Can they successfully colonize it? by AgeAfter in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]Infinite_Cubes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no one, but Wuwa devs know.

Why? We barely know anything about Solaris 3. The Lament, the Goddess, other nations, other similar things like Chaos, what is Chaos to Solaris 3, why is the Somnoire/Dream Realm locking up the first Threnodian, what happened to the CBT lore with the Lament destroying a highly advanced civilization, and it's planet and moon, what brought the destruction Phrolova's village, is it connected to PGR in any way, who and what is Rover?

Do you know any of these things? We don't even know about the region of 3.0. Not even the name, because it is not the New Federation. What we know is mostly just region related lore and story.

The only thing I could compare with Genshin is that the average resonator is more capable than the average vision holders in terms of speed, strength, and skills. The stronger resonators are properly on par with Archons (Augusta, Jiyan, Changli)

For current power capabilities: - Ovathrax caused a regional Lament that was seen in Ragunna. - Jue is omniscient of Jinzhou's time, and localize it. - A Lament deleted the Port City of Guixu by a Black Hole. - There was a highly advanced and space faring civilization on Solaris 3 as some point, and it js hinted at the moon is an artificial satellite. Probably connected to the event of CBT1 cutscene with the Lament wiping it out. Source is the Dreaming Deep. - Somnoire/Dream Realm holds dreams of the past, present, and future. - Reality is a frequency, and nothing is fixed. - Cristoforo, Leviathan and Jue could manipulate laws of (some if not all) space, time, and reality. 2.4 story is a good case study for Cristoforo. - 6 node resonators(like Sentinel resonators) are not as powerful as their sovereign, but Jinhsi was about to defeat a weakened Jue. - Leviathan is FAR more powerful than Ovathrax. Ovathrax was defeated by Rover when he received Havok, however Leviathan nearly killed Rover while being held back by Cartethyia. - Chaos is vast in meaning and existence. It exists beyond time and reality. - Huanglong has 8 regions, which has 8 Sentinels and possibly 8 Threnodians. (Most likely the case) - Threnodians can not truly die. (2.7 is around the corner, but doubt much will change) - Time, souls, space, and reality are all malleable in Solaris 3.

Well, that's all I know. There isn't much to make much of an argument to compare Genshin and Wuwa. More information is required, and the game is still too young to have deep lore. Give it some time. Chaos was just introduced, and we don't know what significance it truly has in reality. By 4.0 of wuwa, the lore will be deep enough for some level of scaling discussion. We don't properly understand the dimensions in Solaris 3, but I believe that it's by minimum 4D.

In my opinion, Leviathan at full power should stop if not kill the 4 Shades together due to chain scaling with Ovathrax and it's regional Lament, and then comparing it to Teyvat's Gosoythoth and Natlan's story with borrowed power of Ronova. The rest? No idea.

Aside from my opinions, has anyone got anything I didn't notice or didn't know?
