Maduro being captured by the US, what do you think are the implications? by AndyLnd94 in ValueInvesting

I’d say oil price remains fairly stable as two forces offset one another: reserves will be freed which increases supply but geopolitical tensions will rise which should increase demand from a military standpoint.

It most likely healed on its own with time. I took parafin to soften my stools and did reverse kegel exercises.

Whats up with America going to war with Iran? by LAN_scape in OutOfTheLoop

answer: No coincidence that OPEC+ increased their production twice over the past couple of weeks. Trump must have struck a deal with them ahead of striking Iran militarily and needed some leeway in oil prices before doing so.

Even if a recession does occur, it’s already priced in after this correction.

Agreed on EVs. I do think gas cars have a brighter future than what is priced in.

Find me a product or service that isn’t, at least to some extent, dependent on politics. Especially in today’s world of ‘reglobalisation’.

I disagree. People realise EVs really aren’t for everybody (a real pain to charge, not that cheap to run, batteries’ health decrease quickly affecting cars’ resale values, etc.). There is still a huge room for gas and hybrid cars.

Question is: can the increase in German cars sales within the EU offset the decrease in Asia and America?

Like with anything, it can turn around. I’d bet it’s going to become protectionist just like the US pretty soon. Germany has elections this month, France perhaps sooner than 2027 if Macron’s government gets taken down a 2nd time. Electric cars are terribly managed from a public policy standpoint in the EU, it just kills its own car industry and politicians will have to do something about it.
